"Your cousin Petal..."

"She is great, but we hardly ever see eachother"

"Go back to her, Amy" I said in a gentle, pleading voice. "Return to your parents, don't worry about me." I could see in her eyes she was about to protest. Taking both her hands I looked into her eyes. "Amy I care greatly for you and if anything were to ever happen to you because of what I am, or what I am not...life would cease to go on for me."

((Amy))

"Phillip, I am a pack leaders daughter, I am a target weather you are here or not. I get death threats daily."

(Phillip)
"I couldn't protect you."

((Amy))

"if I wanted someone to protect me I would get one of the fighters in my pack to do that. I want you for reasons other than that. I want you because you are you"

This was going nowhere, but I knew I had to go. I couldn't bring myself tell her about why I had to go. About the monsters that had been talking to me in my sleep, speaking of how they were rising. Telling me of all the things I had to do for them or they would kill her. They had already burned my home village to the ground....

((Amy))

"phill.." I said quietly.. unable to find anything else to say.

(Phillip)
"I have to do this" I whispered.

((Amy))

"why?"

This hurt, but it would hurt her much worse now than if the alternative happened. "Its the only way." Those were the only words. I squeezed her hands then let go and walked away, trying to resist the urge to turn back.

I stared after him, feeling like my whole world had just colapsed all around me.

(Lily)
"So you see..." I said to Linus "thats why some serons are gold. "

((Linus))

"Wow that is amazing."

I giggled. "I don't know about reflexive serons"

"maybe one of them was able to understand what others felt. and their scales changed to go with that"

I smiled as my eyes changed color to match her emotions.
