I straightend up and ran after them. I was not going to let him take her. I though I would be gasping fo air by now. but I did not get tired and I was gaining on him quickly. he threw something at me and I easily avoided it as if it was something i did all the time. when I got close enough I dove into his legs, makeing him fall over.

We fell and I went sprawling across the floor. I hit a wall but then I couldn't remember a thing.

our adopted dad had followed us and he tackled the man. I went to see if edie was ok.

I tried to follow, but my re-broken bone hurt too much and i clollapsed, only to be dragged back into the hospital bed

"edie? are you ok?" I said, shakeing her gently.

It made me so angray t hat i couldn't try to help my own sister
