I wasn't listening to the conversation in the room but the one outside. The man was still there and was getting progressively louder as he spoke. Now I could hear him clearly.
"I need to get into that room!" He shouted.
"I can't let you go in there. Only family is aloud. I'm going to have to ask you to leave" The nurse said.
"I'm her biological father. I need to get in there!" I stood up then and ran out of the room. My mother panicked when I started to run but I didn't mind her, I just ran to the man.
"Who's biological father are you?" I asked. The man stood in silence. This time I almost screamed in his face. "WHO'S BIOLOGICAL FATHER ARE YOU!?" The man sounded choked up when he started talking again.
"Y-yours Edie."

"Could you please stop shouting?" i said using the loudest volume of my voice. This alone shocked everyone. i never yelled and 2ndly, i never got angry

"that man who shot you is here" I whisperd. "he's trying to convince eddie he's her biological father"

i froze. "Where are the security guards? They're supposed to be patroling this floor" I said under my breath,.

"I don;t know" I whisperd back. I was scared now. what if he got in?

"switch me places" i breathed. "for the record, i'm dead"

"but you can't even get up yet!" I almost shouted.

"shhh,"
i removed all the random tubed and rolled off the bed, crawling under it. my collorbone screamed, but i kept quiet

I was kind of frozen with fear. I was terrified of this guy. and he was here!

"get... in... the... bed...." i said through clenched teeth.

I saw him comeing towards the room now. I knew I wouldent be able to get in the bed fast enough now. so I stepped out of the room. eddie was with him and clearly did not know he was. "get away from him eddie, he's the one who shot ((melody))" said.

My collorbone hurt like there was no tomarrow. luckily there were loud machines in the room or they would have heard my loud breathing

the man gave me a damgouras glare. as if he was going to do soemthing bad to me. I was terrified now.

It was too quiet. I rooled back out and walked over, wobbling like a toddler.
"take me?"

I gave her a look that said "what are out here?"

"What? No this is my father!" I didn't remember my father and so a random stranger could come up to me and tell me he was my dad and I would believe him.
"Edie get away from hi--" I heard a grunt and then my dad picked me up and started running with me over his shoulder.
