I heard a faint voice in my memory telling me to leave some for the rest of them, but I knew that voice wasn't going to help me this time. I was taking them down before they knew they had been hit.

I payed little attnetion to the strnage seron killing feraks. I would ask her why she was here after the battle.

They were retreating. No! I screeched at them. Which one of you can end my torture? I gazed at their retreating line with little hope.

I regarded the retreating feraks with a singal glance. what are you doing here? I said to the strange seron, she was clearly an outcast. wich meant she would not be able to tell i was the leader here.

I turned on the gold, ready to tear him to shreds. When I saw the hatchling I had spoken to earlier, all energy left me. I collapsed onto the hard, blood soaked ground.

((I was jake that time if I say (zack) above my post I am posting as his son zack, but so you don't have to chnage your post. i'll do this))



zack was standing beside me. the fighter who had flown off with ashley flew into camp. as soon as he landed ashley ran over to her brother. They let out high ptiched sqeals of joy at seeing eachother again.

((Isala))

I watched a strange grey seron fighting the feraks. They were backing away. Was that seron friend or foe? I wanted to find out, but we were still getting attacked in huge numbers.

((Trace))

We were defending our camp well. The feraks were backing off. They hadn't overcome us at all yet. Their numbers were getting smaller and smaller but I could tell the serons were getting tired and weak.

The feraks eventuly turned and fled. I told my fighters to stay where they were.


((zack))

I was so glad they got ashley back safely. My fathers fighters may have just been following orders. but they had risked a lot to get her back.

I vaguely remembered fighting off the feraks. I did remember getting really angry. And going berserk.

The healers started treating everyones wounds. we had lost a lot of fighters. I called isala over to me This situation is worse then we thought it was going to be, if the feraks are strong enough to cause this much damage to a seron pack, they can overthrow the treaty of this perserve, go and warn the caretaker about what is happening. I told him. ((the caretaker is counted as an innocent, so the serons are bound to protect him and his family. and they also like protecting innocents, if the serons were evil they could have overthrown the treaty long ago, so if the feraks are able to give the serons a hard time, so can they))

I laid there until some gold serons tried to lift me. I thrashed around until they backed away. Then I got up on my own. My right wing was badly wounded.

Ok, so, ashley was taken by feraks, while the gold serons were rescueing her the feraks attacked their camp. The gold serons managed to rescue ashley and fight off the invadeing feraks ((with the help or sereda). miara joined as an outcast seron named sereda, Oh and earlier the gold serons asked for help from the other packs. so the other seron packs are staying in the gold seron camp. But the gold serons are still suffering from starvation.

zack has finaly fully recoverd, and now what is curently happening, is jake jsut told isala ((one of his elite fighters)) to warn the caretaker, becuase the feraks are strong enough to overthrow the treaty. ((the seron packs live on a magical preserve, like fablehaven... the serons acualy are powerfull enough to overthrow the treaty. But they willingly chose to be protectors instead, so even though they are not bound bu the treaty, they are bound to protect the innocent. so they kibd of have to warn the caretaker and his family, becuase they are innocents))




ok, that was the update, noone post untill those who are lost get a chance to read this.

I flew over to the caretaker. "((caretaker)), feraks have just attacked the serons. We were almost overthrown. We believe you and your family might be in danger."

I sat down in one of the caves, i was starving. I hadent eaten anything in days. I groaned just yesterday there was a hatching born, ugg one more mouth to feed.

This was not good for us. I did not know how long we could keep this up. sooner or later, The gold serons would be unable to help themsleves. The hatchlings were not nearly as lively as they usualy were, They were all too weak to play. I passed zack and ashley as they huddled close to eachother, their eyes glazed with hunger. I wished I could tell them I had food for them, But I had none. I walked into my cave, I saw lola sitting at the entrace to where she stayed. we can't take much more of this I said. if the combined fources of our enemies don't kill us, starvation will

I flew over to the gold camp to alert Jake. Trace came with me. I know why we can't find any food!

well, why can't we? I said.

I thought it was all the fighting that scared them off I said thoughtfully.

How dense can you get? My voice was faint and full of pain, but still had an edge. I thought it was obvious they had the food, but evidently some serons can't figure that out.

I shrugged. I don't exsacly wonder into their territory and see what kind of animals live there I said.

Who's that? I said, shutting my mind out of hers.

I have no idea I said.
