an RPG about made up animals.

so. you fablehaven people know I made up things called serons. and made a roleplay about them on the fablehaven forum. But that forum has been down for such a long time it's not even funny anymore.


But there are also people who are not on the fablehaven forum here, who have no idea what I am talking about. so I will exsplain everything to you right now.






serons look like dragons, but they are smaller ((about the size of a large horse)) they live in large packs, though some do choose to live alone. they are very inteligent and have a seron form and a human form. and they have very powerfull magic. They reach adulthood in five years. but then their age slows down to where they age one year every one hundred years.





leaders:

serons leaders are at the head of the pack, they make all the rules. But they must listen to the members of their pack. the elite have the power to remove the leader from his position if he abuses his power.



The elite gaurd:

the elite gaurd is the head of the fighters, and is also the leader of the elite. he also takes over for the leader if the leader is unable to do something.



the elite fighters:

these are the personal gaurd of the leader. There are about twenty elite fighters. They are also each over a small group of fighters.



fighters:

these serons protect the pack from anything that might threaten them. a seron becomes a fighter at five years old.




retired serons:

these are serons that are unable to do their job anymorem, they are highley respected.


healers:

these serons are trained in healing, There are twelve healers in a pack.



hatchlings:


These are the hatchlings of the pack. they are the most highly protect members of the pack. to harm a hatchling, is certain death.















and here is the plot.



The serons packs have been at peace for thousands of years now. Eggs have been layed and hatched. they are in their best years. But an old enemy is about to return, and they will need to learn the secrets of their past leaders to defeat it. ((for those who are at the FH forum. this is long after the time of marcus, The preserve they live on has long since been abandond))

I sat just outside my cave. My two hatchlings played with eachother nearby. they were three months old. the boy was named zack and the girl was named ashley. I watched them play for a bit. then went to find my elite gaurd. This was a time of peace. but knowing what was going on outside my camp wouldent hurt.

zack and ashley darted under my legs as they ran to meet sara. ((oh yeah, hatchlings are as small as a feret.))

Things hadent been too bad for a while. The only ties we ever had to use our fighters, had been to chase off some pesky trapper. But we still taught our hatchlings how to defend themselves, just in case we needed a real fighting fource.

I sat down, playing with one of the hatchling, since there was peace there was no need to Fight. all year was slow .but i was still young and had things to look foward to.

it was a very nice day, it seemed like nothing could go wrong. well, that is, untill one of my fighters came running in. There are black serons on our baorder. and there are a lot of them he said. ((when I say what they are saying in italics they are tlaking with their mind, if I say what they are saying in quotes they are tlaking out loud. serons talk with their mind when they are in their seron form. and out lound when in human form)) come on lola, lets go check it out. I said. I had some extra fighters come with us as well.

"Hey Zack and Ashley!"I said. I darted towards them, smiling. We always played together.

"we havent seen you in ages!" I said. turning into my human form.



((jake))


we soon saw the black serons, the fighter had been right. there were a lot of them. go back to camp and get more fighters I told lola.

"Oh, my parents was busy helping me and teaching me techniques to be a leader." I shrugged. "But I know they won't die until a long time." I layed on the floor, I was a little tired today since my father had me to run.

((zack))


"my father is investigateing some black serons on our boarder" I said. "if there are a lot of them, he will send lola back to get more fighters" "I wish we could go with them!" one of the other hatchlings said, walking over to us. he parents were both elite fighters.

"Let's hope they'll be ok."I sighed."And we're lucky to not fight but we will someday."

"so much for a time of peace" I said. "well, lets do something. jake took all his best fighters with him, those black serons wont be around for long" "But some of them will be killed" ashley said. "some of the hatchlings will lose one or both of their parents, and jake went with them, what if he is one of them? or lola?"

"Let's just hope they aren't..."I muttered."We should do something right now, I'm bored..."

((zack))


"yeah.." I said. "lets go do something!"

"But I can't play, I'm so tired."I sighed.

"did your father work you ahrd today?" I said.



((jake))


as soon as lola came back with more fighters. we went to confront the black serons. what are you doing here? I said. takeing more land for ourselves the leader of the group of black serons said. then we will invade your camp and steal all your hatchlings/i] I growled, showing my teeth. [i]get out of here, now! I said. the black serons didin't leave. inf act. their leader signald for them to attack. and we had no choice but to fight back. I was not a very nice seron if you were my enemy. I tackled the black seron closest to me. biteing him as hard as I could and opening a huge gash in his side with my claws.

"He made me run a lot..."I sighed."It's not easy to train for a leader."I layed there next to Zack.

"unless you are training with jake" I said. "he lets us rest when we have had enough"

I sighed. "My father wants to me to be as strong as he is."I looked away."But that's impossible since I'm only a girl."

"there are girls who became strong enough to be in jakes elite" I said.

I winced as I saw two of my fighters go down. But I kept fighting. we had tod rive them back, or they would go after our hatchlings.
