I could tell the boy was uncomfortable, so I decided to change into human form. Mainly because I was so short like that nobody could ever see me as threatening like that. "Its alright."

"who are you?"

(Petal)
"I'm Petal" I said in my very quiet voice, noticing that my bracelet's charm was a deep blue with purple hints. Calm and concerned

"petal.. petal as in Lucas and marisols adopted daughter? that petal?"

(Petal)
I blushed "Yes"

"I don;t see the pack fighters anymore... are they even still around? I used to see them pass by all the time"

(Petal)
"Everybody is still recovering from a war."

"ohh okay, do you think whoever you were fighting might have..." I didn't want to say it.

(Petal)
"It was mainly a misunderstanding." I spoke kindly. "Many of our former enemies are on our side."

"but.. not all of them."

(Petal)
"True." I said, but then put two and two together, deciding this was a bad idea to talk of.

I didn't really feel like talking after that.

(Petal)
"Keep talking about something. It will help you I promise. Actually, why don't you touch this flower over here."

"We know Alexis from one of the places we lived"

"Continue" I encouraged, gently touching the pure white flower to one of his fingers. I glowed slightly, and the colors began to swirl around it from the center. So this was how he felt. "Alright Linus, I know how to help you". I began to explain what each color meant, and then began to explain different healing ideas, like forgiving, gaining confidence and such. As I did so, I changed the appropriate colors. When I was done, the flower was a bright posative rainbow.

It would take a long time. but I was sure I could do it. It was going to take a long time tho. one does not have their life shattered and then recover over night.

"Trust her, she's been helping me and iv'e been doing a lot better. I am not perfectly okay yet but I am tons better than before"

I had been looking to find Alexis.

Alexis and I noticed the other hatchling at the same time. Alexis obviously knew her, as she ran over to her and hugged her. the only thing I knew about her as that she was pretty.

"Lexi, I missed you." I said quietly in her ear, then over her shoulder I saw him...We made eye contact and suddenly my favorite color is blue.

I saw her looking and smiled. "go on then" I said, giving her a gentle push in his direction.

I smiled shyly "Hi"
