I had been pacing outside the cave trying to think when somebody suck up behind me. I whirled around
Caleb! What are you doing here? I scolded trying to hide the obvious pleasure at his precence.
Oh nothing I was just wondering if you had a few spare moments later on.
Suddenly so bold are we? I asked teasingly.

At the moment the younger hatchligns were asleep. so I was practiceing the skills I needed as a leader. eryis had been helping to keep up my training while I stayed here. meagan was also trained alongside me.

Max hadn't noticed me watching. I remembered being so small, learning about the powers being a leader would give me. I enough control of my powers now to not use them on accident, but I wasn't so good at using them on purpose. I was used to not needing them, but the more I thought about it, the more I came to realize that I needed to learn how to use my powers. I could use them to help with the war... But the idea also scared me, I hadn't called on them in so long...
