I was about to say something when I heard the voice in my head. Internally I sighed.

HELLO PEACE GIVER, IT IS ABOUT TIME YOU REALIZED YOUR NEW POWER. I AM ALSO CONTACTING THE OTHERS AT THIS TIME. YOU MUST SPLIT UP. ONE OF THE OTHERS WILL TRAVEL WITH YOU; YOU WILL NOT CHOOSE. YOU WILL LEAVE TOWN WITH ONE OF THE OTHERS. YOU WILL GET FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS. EACH TEAM WILL HAVE THEIR OWN CAR TO TRAVEL IN. EXPENSES WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. THE CARS ARE LOCATED IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT. GOOD LUCK.

"I looked across at everyone. "I'm guessing we all got the same message, about leaving?" I asked. Everyone nodded.

We made our way back to the church. It was pretty cold outside, and it started to snow a little bit.
"Great, now we'll have to get coats..." I muttered.

We got into the church without any trouble. It was a Tuesday, I guess. We walked up, through the aisle, and, sure enough, right beneath the cross there were 4 sets of keys.

"I guess we each get a key," I said, picking one up and adding it to my lanyard. The others each grabbed their keys. We walked outside, eager to see what we'd be driving. I wasn't impressed.

In the church parking lot there were 2 Priuses. Very many, I thought. One was black, the other red. My key unlocked the red one.

"Whoever's coming to Chicago, get in my car," I said to the rest of them. ((Jon)) walked up and grabbed shotgun. He tried to make sure his key worked, and sure enough it did.

"Well, at least it has good gas mileage," I muttered. The girls took a seat in their car.

I looked at ((Jon)). "We should probably stop the night at a hotel," I said. "We could drive all the way to Chicago, but it's better to be fully rested." Then a thought came to my mind. "Check the trunk," I said. I'm really happy I did. I told the girls to also. In our trunks there were a weeks worth of clothes, including coats, and a TON of money. Like, probably close to $750,000. There were also suitcases, in case we needed to seem like regular people. Also, each trunk had 2 iPhones in them. They were engraved with what I guess were our codenames (mine had Flameborn engraved on it). The only contacts were the other people in our group. There were notes saying that it had unlimited data. I walked back into the car, connected my new iPhone into the car, put on some music (the Voice really knew everything, the iPhone was loaded with Jack Johnson songs. I selected "Better Together" to start), set the GPS to Chicago, and started the car. We were about to have one heck of a road trip!

I felt a strange emotinon cross over me. I knew I was in for one heck of a ride. The supplies in the back was quite a shock, and he was still digesting the information. "What if we get pulled over and searched."

((Oh, and btw A.J. I though your guy was Flameborn. Flamebearer sounds too similiar to plaugebearer.))

I looked at our black Prius. I checked the name on the other girl's iphone. "You're driving, Peace Giver. My record with nice cars is... sketchy at best." I pocketed my iphone and shoved clothes into each suitcase. I took that cash, split it approximately in half and buried the money under the clothes in each suitcase.

"We shouldn't get pulled over and searched unless they think we are doing drugs or something. And sure, I can drive." I took the phone and slid it in my pocket, then looked at the boys. "So, I guess we will catch up with you later..."

I did a little wave, then put the car in reverse, and started to drive.

The beggining of the drive was uneventful. We ended up (after much arguing) going to eat dinner at a Chili's, mainly because we were both too hungry to keep arguing.

We sat down in a booth and made a bit of small talk.

"So," I said, "Got anyone you love?"

The ride was rather silent. Neither one of us really wanting to talk. The only talking we did do was arguing over food. Aparently he decided it was time to get one another. "I think I did but I don't have much memory past the hospital to be honest."

"Sooooo" I said, standing awkwardly. We still didn't know were we were going. then the voice spoke up with one word.

BOSTON.

"Thanks." I muttered under my breath. Then I looked at Lynne. "You get that?"

"Yep, I got it too. Might as well get under way."

I hopped in the car and set up the GPS. According to the time that popped up we were looking at about a 15 hour drive not counting bathroom and food stops. "You can choose the music." I told her as I pulled out of the parking lot. "We have a long drive ahead of us and I have a feeling music will help us both." We had died, been brought back to life, thrown into a group of strangers, and been then had to split up. Music was about the only thing that was going to help loosen the knot in my stomach.

"I hope you don't mind some older music then. Personally, I can't stand the pop fluff that's on the radio nowadays. It's all too...mushy." I connected my iPhone to the car and played some George Gershwin.

"How long were you in the hospital," I asked

I snorted. "You mean the 'lala lets use special effects for everything' songs? No, I am all about Queen personally. And David Bowie comes pretty close after that."

"As long as I can remember man. 5 years at the least. I'm surprised they didn't just shoot me out of my misery."

"For all you know they did," I said, jokingly. "Do you know for sure that you died of sickness?"

I decided to get chips and salsa. We had the money, anyway.

I took chips and salsa as well. "To be honest no. Though to be honest I'm happy if I died of a bullet."
