"okay yeah two. only one of them is married"

"Tanner, you know what I don't understand?"

"You and Slaincor have the same parents, the same exact blood and everything while Jack is diluted a generation. Why is he going to lead rather than you?"

"It is how it is. the oldest child becomes the leader. however that does not leave me with nothing. i'll tell you about it when we are on our way. we don;t know who may been listening around here"

I shook my head. Some things about serons still don't make sense.

"I know, it made little sense to me at first too"

"Its just seems unfiar."

"when you know what I get to do. it won;t seem so unfair"

I jumped up on his back and kissed him on the top of his head. "Love you"

I laughed softly "love you too"

A giggle escaped me.

I smiled

"Did you know that you have the cutest little elf ears?"

"you know, that was the first thing my mother said when I hatched"

"Well its truth" I said plainly.

"hmm... you may be on to something"

"yes, that is true, and most humans would have dropped you by now"
