Growing pains and heartache.

"Look at me Tanner! Can't you see?!? Or maybe hear?" Maybe he wouldn't notice the subtle changes, but they were in fact there.

"You look like a women.. although you still as beautiful as ever"

"Thank you" I said. He had both noticed but also accepted it. And with that I threw my arms around his neck.

I grinned

Then I whispered. "I also figured out something I thought I knew..."

"oh? what would that be?"

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"We all knew that, silly"

"yeah, but I have to say something in reply. it would be really awkward if I replied with something like 'I like turtles' "

"You always have something to say, especially to that. Are you alright?"

"couldn;t be better"

I held him at arms length, looking into his eyes, trying to detect any hint of a lie. What was he worried about?

((umm he;s not worried about anything. he was joking))

"I love you more than anything Abbie but.. I'm afraid. not that it won't work. but that you will be a target for the enemies of my family. "

"I'm more seron than I am human, you know that more than anybody does, Tanner." I insisted, the flowers in my hand changing colors.

the flowers became gold with blue tips ((or was it blue with gold tips?)) on the petals. the symbol that could only be made if our love for eachother was so strong nothing could break it. if either of us went against it, we would be cursed for the rest of our lives.

(Wasn't actually my intent)
But of course he didn't see that they made trips through firey orange and almost black to get there, but when that color change happened, something felt tingly in me and looking down I discovered what I'd done without thinking.

I tackled her in a hug.

In doing to he knocked away both the flowers and my breath, but I managed to hug him back. He really was my world, but i felt like I was being a little bit crushed. "Careful, Tanner I'm still a little more breakable than you."

"oh sorry. " I looked into her eyes. I grabbed a flower of my own and made one just like hers.

"Its perfectly fine" I said, lacing my fingers in through his, meeting his eyes.

"This couple is going to help another couple go on a misson that is going to asigned to them by another couple. "
