"But your parents...."

My parents accept my relationship with you. but they need my help to run the pack.

(Lilac)
Couldn't Abbie and Tanner help with that though? Abbie seems to wander more than anything and.... My eyes brightened. That was it! Abbie and I could disappear for a few weeks. Long enough for Tanner to bring back news that I'm dead. My parents will move on as will my... fiance I shuddered at the word. You could then be wandering or spying or something official and then find me. Then I can come back alive thanks to you and my parents will have to approve.

great idea.. but how much do we tell my parents? they will know something is up. they find out everything.

They can know. Its just my parents. and everybody else.

((Jack))

The Elite will be the biggest concern. they are trained to guard my family, it will not be easy to convince them to leave us alone.

(Lilac)
All you have to do is discover me in afew weeks. Okay?

Alright I said. I remembered that my dad had told me to include Lilacs parents in my patrol, which would be leaving any time now. They did not like me much, and I did not like them. but i out ranked them, and my parents out ranked me. so we had to go along with it. The patrol had assembled around us while we were talking. I was glad our conversation could only be heard by lilac and I. I looked around to make sure everyone was there. then I had a thought. "Lilac, you will join us. noone can teach you more in training classes. you need acual field experiance"

(Mildred: Lilac's mom)
"Actually, sir she cannot go outside the camp for awhile. Her father and I have decided that she is simply not ready. Lilac may protest otherwise but as her parents we really do know what is best for her."

((jack))

"Do you then? or do you just not want her to be a fighter? because of course, this is the only part of her training left undone. I cannot teach her more here and neither can my parents. she is more capable of fending for herself than some of the Elite. so the only reason I see is... you want her to remain a servant."

(Mildred)
"I wouldn't expect you to understand, being a child with no responsibilities, but as a parent I say no. She is indeed talented which she knows, but very few minds can handle the responsibility that comes with the power of such knowledge. "

I came into the camp later that afternoon.

As Jack and my parents left I watched feeling as if I'd been punched. She had lied about me, but that was just how she was.
I was sitting under a tree when Tanner appeared. "Tanner do you think you could help me?" Then I explained my plan.

"oh, That sounds like the perfect plan. of course I will help you"

I appeared behind my...friend? Boyfriend? Whatever Tanner was.
"You can live with me in my secret hideout while you're dead"

"She can live with you while she is dead?"

I understand what she meant. "Dead" I said making quotation marks in the air.

((slaincor))

I walked up behind them. Jack was right, I had a way of knowing what was going on. ((this would be the first time slaincor talks to lilac as a friend and not as her master)) "I will make sure you get in with tanners group when he goes out next." I said. "By the way, tell your mother she is not good at lying. We all know you are more than ready"

"Thank you" I managed to say. My mind was racing as i struggled to comprehend the leader trying to help me out in a plan to trick my own parents. It made me feel...important.
