"I agree! Who do YOU love?!" I demanded, turning Landon

"Uhhhhhhhhhh.....Well........" I was confused this was weird. "Personally I think you need to cool it" i laughed nervously

I didn't dare look at Joelyn. I knew if I did I wold lose it.

"I simply cannot cool it. My heart drives me to restlessness. I must know!". I grabbed onto his arm, pulling him to me.

I closed my eyes and just laughed. This was insane there was no way they were for real. We had been friends for sooo long and well this was unusual "Ok so drop the act your freaking me out" i said trying to get them to laugh by catching them off guard

He had seen through it..maybe. Not that I would admit it. I'd had a DrPepper within the last hour. I could 'forget' about it tomorrow, maybe blush a little to make me seem embarassed.

I nodded and laughed when she didn't respond. I was pretty sure now that i was right. if they were truelly fighting over me i probally would of been yelled at for even considering the option. "So cool it. Show's over darling"

Taking both hands in mine I gazed into his eyes. "It'll never be over. Not for me"

I stared back determined to make her laugh. "Oh come on. Do you really want me to believe that BOTH of you have been deply in love with me this entire time we've been friends."

Rising to my toes, I kissed him on the forehead.

I just shook my head. What ever. She could do what she wanted to. "I'll go out with you if you want." i was half joking half not. i didnt really care what she said but i had to admit that she didn't look bad.

I gaped. "What?! You don't love me!" I had been in enough plays with Joelyn that making it look like I was about to cry wasn't too hard, I just hoped I wouldn't start laughing in the middle of it.

turning to her is said "Its alright we'll always be friends! C'mon I'll go get you a drink"

I thought for a moment, wondering if I should turn her down and play super heart broken, or give in and play strong heartbroken. I decided the later, I disliked the people who collapsed and sobbed and completely lost it cause the guy they liked turned them down. I liked the, 'This sucks, but it isn't the end of the world' people better. I nodded. "Alright."

I justed laughed at these too and followed them

As we walked out I turned over my shoulder and winked at him.

I pretended not to notice the wink. As soon as we were out of earshot I burst out laughing. "That, was epic!"

"I know! That was great acting! "

"Me? You were fantastic!"

I broke out laughing. "Should we follow through with the date offer?"
