**Fantasy**

"Oh, and I'd suppose you'd like to know I'm Shane"

I looked at the other elf questioningly.

"Trista." I said. I turned away and began to count my arrows and make sure everything was ready for when we started moving.

I inched over to Shanes side. It was silly, I wasn't really anything to him a but a tag along and someone to flirt with. And that was fine. But imagining not knowing my family made me feel so alone I just needed to be near him. For whatever comfort I might provide, and he might provide me.

"Okay, and wherever the little dark elf is, i'll get her?" i puased and looked at the others. "Name later." I looked at the cat. "Does she have a name?"

"The girls call her Rina I believe. Other than that, no." I noticed Temora move a little closer to me. I didn't really know why, however it was oddly comforting.

"Ok, well, what do you guys plan to do now?" I noticed Temora inch closer to Shane, 'definitely a liking between them.' I thought, 'especially with the way Shane relaxed slightly.'

"That is exactly what we have been talking about. You'd have known that had you'd been listening and not watching us looking for advantages." I smiled, I couldn't wait to see his reaction. "However I believe I'm going to look for my parents."

"You don't know your parrents?" I said, ignoring his first comment for now, "What, did you live in the wild, raised by," i glanced at his wings, "eagles?"

" it's a little bit more complicated than that. I'm a fallen angel; angels don't often meet their parents. Though I've fallen and I'm curious. "

That might make a awkward meeting. 'yeah hi, remember me? Your son? Oh yeah, I know I am supposed to be an angel, but I kind of fell, and, well... I figured while I was down here...' This was going to be a fun trip.

"I would be too. So, do you have any idea how you are going to find them?"

"Are you a visitor from heaven or a banished misfit? I noticed you appear to be a dark angle."

"Dark, fallen it's all the same thing. Different people not communicating and dubbing the name differently. In response to your question I was neither. I sought power and there was no opportunity for growth their. In response to you, Temora, I stole a magical tracking device from the human government. I ran and am suppose to return and collect money for doing so, but I think I'll make use of it first."

((You know what, we are not getting anywhere. you guys mind if we do a time jump? Even just a few hours would work. I am just getting bored of "Where are we going?" "I dunno, where are we going?" I feel like the vultures in the Jungle Book!))

"I thought angels were, well, angels." I said. 'Oh Galorn, always the smart *** comments.' I thought with a smile.

((Yeah, I agree with Tiana. However I must think what I wanna do.))

((So, do you want to do the time jump or should I?))

((You're free to do it. I just have to think exactly how I want this to continue.))

The journey was remarkably uneventful until we were a day away from the town. The human government apparently had connections among the elves, because they managed to set up a pitiful road block.

I sighed weakly. These people really weren't going to give up. I slowed to a stop, moving aside into the brush for concelment. "So I'm fairly certain they haven't seen us yet which is good. We have a few options; slide by unnoticed and move on, turn back and go elsewhere, or light up the sky."

i could sneak up and kill them easily enough, or sneak by, whatever works.

"Personally, I'd rather sneak by. These people have no need to die; they're just following orders." I voiced my opinion, but stayed hidden.

"I have no intrestest in drawing attention to myself. So looks lije we slide by. Let them live (miara)'s right."

"As I have no interest in getting in a fight I agree." I said.
