**Fantasy**

"Oh?" I leaned forward, and smirked a little. "The real question is, could you handle it?"

Hmm she likes to play too. "I dunno. A pretty girl might distract me." I leaned forward to match her gaze.

"I guess that is just a problem you will have to learn to deal with then." I was loving this. No one in town ever talked like he did, they were all wrapped up in staying in the woods and keeping away from people. maybe that was why he was so interesting to me. Or maybe it was just the glint of humor in his eyes that life had tried and failed to stamp out.

I don't know if it was a fear of something like this that had kept me away from people or what but I feel like I had been missing something. Or perhaps she was just special. I leaned in a tad more and kissed her. Then i stood and held out my hand, throwing 6 gold on the table. "Probably way over but who cares. Would you like to go outside?"

I was slightly breathless as I stood up. But it didn't stop me from smiling and taking the offered hand. "I am sick of being indoors. Outside would be wonderful." I wasn't just talking about getting out of the restaurant.

We strolled outside. I noticed a few crazy glances and one particularly menacing one from the person working but just kept walking. "Do you have any specific place you'd like to go?"

I thought for a moment. "No, I need to go to the shop, so I get get my stuff and tell Father goodbye, and I am good to go."

"Ok that's fine." I smilied this girl got more intresting every second. "Your father gonna be ok?"

"I think he has been waiting for me to make up my mind for a while now. To go or not to go. He is a good guy, even if he is a little intimidating."

"Do you want me to wait outside" I asked as we came up to the house.

"Yeah... If you wouldn't mind." I left him waiting at the door and went inside. My brother was waiting. "You didn't say you'd be with a stranger." H grumbled. I smiled, but not unkindly. "I am more than old enough to care for myself, Brother." he watched me move to the stairs. "So you are getting your bag of supplies and leaving then. I was wondering how long it would take." I looked back. "I can't stay here forever, I will go stir crazy. Or give in, get married and settle down. Neither of those is attractive to me." He just shook his head. "I know, you better hurry up before he leaves without you."

I grabbed my things, and as i thought Father was completely understanding. That didn't stop him from stepping out and threatening Shane with living death should anything happen to me though. We hugged, and he slipped a small package into my hands. Then Shane and I left. And just like that, I was outside of town with no clue where we were going, and I didn't really care either.

A crazy thought crossed my mind. "Hey stop." I murmered. "You wanna fly?"

I stared at him, my eyes growing wide. "Really?" I whispered. What does everyone dream of at some point or other but to fly. to see the world falling away from you and to feel the wind on your face. I was no exception.

I unfurled my wings. "I don't think I shared this part with you yet." I smiled. "Cross your arms."

I did as he said. My breath was catching in my throat a little, but with excitement not fear. Okay, there may have been a little fear, I was about to fly. But excitement was winning over that.

I wrapped my arms around him. And gave a little a little jump. My wings caught the air and I assended. I spiraled a little bit. "How you doing." I whispered in her ear.

My breath was taken away for a moment. All I could do was watch as the world flew by, or rather I flew by the world. "It's amazing!" I said softly, but loudly enough that he could hear me.

"Yeah, I like to do this." I gazed around and banked. Coming down I landed. "I'm gonna have to tell you something. Earlier before I came into town I encountered this strange elf girl who lived outside the village. Hope you don't have a problem cause I ran into her and she wanted to come along too. She's bout mile from her. You wanna start walking. You can ask me question if you like."

I had to lean on him for a moment before I got my balance back, then I thought about the other elves who lived nearby. The only girl I could think of was... "You mean Trista?" I asked surprised. "You actually got her out of the house? I am impressed. We used to be friends, but she got sick of the others teasing her about her human blood and left town. I don't mind her being around at all." I started walking as I looked up to the sky. I had flown. In the sky, above everything. I turned and smiled. It wasn't an amused or flirty smile this time. He had brought me joy and I let him see it. "Thank you."

I smilied back. "your welcome. Honestly i've never done that before. My wings hurts from the strain. I should do that more often to make them stronger. Hmm.." I got lost in my train of thought for a moment. "Oh!" I nodded my head in Trista's directions a started walking, offering my hand once more. "She's this way." I have a feeling Trista's going to be surprised. I wasn't used to these things happening. Somehow in one day I'd gone from solo to two female companions and being stalked. One of the girls who had made me display more emotion than I think I have in my entire life.

I took his hand and we started walking. "I am sorry about your wings." He had made it seem so effortless I'd never have noticed anything was wrong if he hadn't said anything. "Why do you have wings?" I added curiously.

"Oh no your fine. To be honest it was probally good for me in some way." I smiled. "An in reply to your other question; I'm an angel."

Not that I wasn't used to it, but couples were weird. I had seen weirder couples, none that had really come to mind, but I was sure I had seen weirder ones. I kept my distance, allowing the Bounty to relax with this girl. I was sure neither realized I was there quite yet, but she would meet me soon enough.

I felt eyes on me once again. "Aparently you'll meet someone else too today. Aparently today someone decided to start stalking me and talking bout keepers or something like that. No clue. Stay cautious and don't trust her. Ok." I looked at her to see what he reaction would be. "I told you my life was strange."

I looked at him for a long moment, I almost tripped over a tree root I was paying so little attention, but he caught me and pulled me back up. "Thanks." I said, a little embarrassed. "Alright. I'll keep that in mind. So why are your wings black, and not white? Or is that just a stereotype thing? And why is there enough bounty on you to be worth being stalked by a hunter?"
