I slipped my hand into his, and called over to Reana " look after the others for a bit ok? this baby needs taking care of for the time being ", without waiting for an answer I lead Vinrick across the Forum of my clans tree village and onto the rope and wood bridges that connected the Forum to all of the nests up in the trees. Jincka's nest overlooked the great crescent, which was an opening in the pelt of trees that made up our forest. The great crescent was made by my Great-great great great GREAT grandmothers mother when she was only twenty winters old. It was the result of a huge surge of magic power.
I lead him along the great pathways in the trees, climbing higher and higher into the tangling tree branches.

I nodded again to the deamon. Then I started walking towards Yin when she suddenly turned and pulled the magic man with her. I started after her then stopped. It wasn't that important. I then looked at the were-panther and came to a realization. She was very warmly welcomed here so she must of lived here for a while. I walked up to her and quietly asked, "Is there any place I can stretch my wings?"

((yeah, it (was) christmas, even if you don't celebrate christianity directly it has kind of become a universal holiday orientating around family, she has probably been very busy today, like always.))

I raced up the stairs at a break-neck speed, Vinrick followed me by gliding, the baby trailing behind him safely. "Humph!" I snorted, "Can't climb and can't use a weapon? what do you do if your magic runs out in the middle of a fight?"

I shrugged and made a huge leap to Jinkcas nest. Almost flying, I had soared up over Vinricks head and about 500 yards into the air, catching a tree branch I back-flipped onto Jinkcas door step. I turned and knocked firmly on her door.

"nope! us were's are very proud of our meat! the beer is from the elves who live north yonder", the door to Jinkca's house opened, and our conversation was cut short by Jinkca herself, A large beautiful brown wolf, she preferred to stay in wolf form.
"Hello Jinkca! this is my new friend Vinrick," I gestured to him as he stood beside me, "He has a baby that needs to be looked after, since I need to introduce him to everyone, can you be obliging and look after the baby?". Jincka walked out and sniffed the floating child, who had fallen asleep yet again. She gently enveloped the baby with her own magic and looked me and Vinrick in the eye,
~alright little daughter~ she said to me and took the baby inside her home, the door magically shut itself behind her.
"she said ok! but we need to comeback here tomorrow to make your own nest so you can keep up with your new responsibility" I took his hand again, "come! we need to meet the others at the kill haul"
