I climbed up with practiced ease. I remembered when I had first come here, Yin had taken me out to teach me to climb, but I was climbing all over the place from the moment I touched the tree. At first she had been mad that I could climb so well. Until I pointed out that I was a panther, we lived in the trees. Wolves were ground animals. So it was only natural for her to have a harder time. I came up and stepped onto the platform, moving aside for the others. Almost immediately I was wrapped with a hug from Yins father. The Alfa. "I sense emotional turmoil. You need to talk your emotions out more, instead of bottling them up." He said. He was like that. He was cheerful, and good, but also very wise, and VERY much Alfa. He was in charge. It was he who took me in and helped raise me after he found me in the woods. He had been like a father to me, and the pack my family. I used to get teased, a cat in a wolves pack, it wasn't right. But I had pulled my own weight. and eventually the teasing stopped. It was nice to see them all there. I hadn't seen them in a couple of years, I had left to do my thing, and find out a little more about myself.

Yins father looked at everybody. "Everyone is welcome, as long as they follow our rules and ways." He said. He patted me on the back. How to describe Yins father... He is large, the kind of person you look at and you say, "Wow, he could rip my head off if he felt the inclination.". But he has a kind heart, and is one of the coolest most controlled people I know. He earns the love and respect from all that follow him. He loves to laugh. But he is a leader, and he is not afraid to do whatever has to be done.

My father with his big booming voice said "Got quiet a load for a young lad don't cha'? Yonder midwif'll 'elp take care o' ye, as long as you help her understood?"

Normally, I would have flown to the platform but the branches were too close to safely fly. So I climbed the tree with some difficulty because of my wings but I got up there. Standing with the rest of our group a very large male were-wolf, my guess the alpha, approached us. He hugged the were-panther. I stood to the side slightly uncomfortable of all the staring going on. I rubbed the back arms of my wings together. Oh how I wanted to stretch them out and fly! But now was not the time I reminded myself. I became self conscious of them and pulled them closer to my body, rubbing the dark purple membrane with my fingers. The alpha welcomed us with a smile. At least we wont be thrown out if we follow the rules, I mused to myself. He seemed like a friendly guy. Others in the crowd around us I wasn't so sure about.

I glanced quickly at the skull deamon, anticipating a sharp response. Neona smelled nervous she was rubbing her purple wings as if to comfort herself.

"They are still powerful creatures." I replied back. "Besides, I'm still a shy person anyways." I did need to calm down though. Not being around too many people did make me have, how should I say it, somewhat of a stage fright.

I was tired as anything. two shifts so close together was enough to wear anyone out, but I also hadn't slept in two days, and my emotions had gone on annoyingly high to the point that I was doing things I normally wouldn't do. Like risk everyones deaths for the child. He was a sweet boy, but was he worth the entire human or vampire race? I sighed. Yins father was right. I needed to start letting my emotions out before they got too strong for me.

I put my arms back at my side relaxing a little. But I still kept my wings tight against myself. I looked back at the deamon. "I never got your name by the way."

Because you don't want people to think you're stupid, you want them to think your smart and well-read!! Explaining the accent, The older weres in my clan used to belong to another werewolf clan further east, which is where the accent comes from. Elfish Rune is what our characters are currently speaking, so you're hearing the transition from Wolf Song to Elfish Rune. I think it makes him more colorful... but thats just me!))
