I coninuted walking farther ahead purpously kicking up as much dust as I could

I shook my head slightly. I used magic to sheild the dust away form me.

I had to trip in my upset and roll clumsily.

I saw movement near alyss. I shoved her out of the way and got a direct hit from a dark energy ball that had been shot at her. I knew the place where it hit would be badly burned. not only that I knew I only had minuts to live.

(Oh no not another near death experince. )
I felt everything inside me go cold. cann you talk to me? please keep talking. We'll get help THen I turned to the others Who is fastest? Lydiaa and theo thers are about fifteen minutes that way maybe shorter if you hurry. go

it was getting harder and harder to breath.

I sat close to my friend and looked him in the eyes, intently telling a story,

I listend silently as alyss told her story. desperately trying to cling to life.

I looked at alyss, my eyes barely seeing her.

I panicked this was not going well in the least.

alyss.. i'll be ok. I said weakly.

I'll protect you. I can't let you go. Don't leave me, please. I sat as close as I could him without furthur upsetting his wounds.

I'm right here. I won't leave you and I'm not letting you leave me. I ran quickly over to his uninjered side and leaned up against him, he would feel me next to him. right here, I'm not going anywhere.

That was the last thing I heard before i totaly lost consiousness. The enxt thing I knew i was wakeing up surrounded by serons. marisol had run all the way to the main pack and told them what happend and they had sent someone to pick the rest of us up. I looked around and noticed a seron who hadent been there before.

I ran up to Lydiaa and stood by her, trying get some comfort. who's that? i asked noticing somebody beside her

Let me do the talking, I'll evpalin everhything and you don't need to tire yourself needlessly. Yes, I have a daughter. Many years ago, I also had my love, Caleb. I had them for only a short time, the time which was one of myhappiest. On evening, Caleb had taken Victoria out to play and they never came back. After searching I assumed they were dead-everyone did. Life was miserable for the next few months after that. Then I was given the duty of raising my brother's daughter for him. I smiled warmly at Alyss and her friends. How they had helped to heal my wounded heart. Victoria showed up not long ago.

I looked at victoria. she looked alot like lydiaa. but younger.
