I shook my head, there was a better plan in mind. They approached me and i began to cry "please can you help my chilren and i?" I batted my eyes, trying to be convincing,

((no, of course i would like to see how kirsti convinces the black serons not to kill them or hold them hostage. ))

(Well, my thinking is that if they were taken hostage even, they could still gain plently of intelligence from overhearing eveybody, pass it all along and then find a way to excape,)

They stared doubiously. Only to the Mellorie, Conner, and Kyle i spoke pretend that you are either my childen or children in my charge. Play along and I can get us through this.
"Please, don't kill us. The kids are well learned, and hard workers. I personally could be of great advantage,"

I tired to look pathetic. hideing behind kristi like i exspected them to eat me at any time.

I clung to kristi's arms andbegan to cry, appearing to be terrified

I stared with a mixture of true fear and fake fear.

The black serons stared, but I met their gaze with stedy eye contact. My eyes displayed no fear, but something mysterious that would keep them all wondering what I was thiking.

I let kristi do the talking. letting myself look like I just hope we don't die. which of course I do hope we don't die so it's not hard to act.
