i led the way. there was a small area cut off by a small stream. LYdiaa had pointed it out. it required the people to enter it to be pure at heart. It was so strict that most times only hatchlings could enter

We all entered and the whle atmosphere felt better. I felt so... happy. There was a little pond. Kristi accidently tripped into it, and when she crawled out, i gasped in surprise. All the scars that she had from living with her dad were gone, and she was shining

I climbed out on the other side. it works! the memory is not as terrible anymore. even tho I still remember it

I looked up and saw a very large group of black serons flying overhead. towards where the adult serons were. There were so many they blocked out the sun. in the middle of the was the frst phantom and by his side was the alterd black seron leader.

I looked up and saw them comeing. it was like a huge black cloud. they outnumberd the fighters of all of the packs put together. I knew from past exspwriance fighting them was hopeless. I looked around for a way to escape. there was none. we would have to fight them. or die trying.

I noticd my dad with the rest of the black serons. I didn't hate him, and the memories still stung, but i still didn't care too much for him. Oh my gosh, they're going to be after everybody! at that point i made a decision that had been haunting me for some time. I looked at my friends. i may not be seeing them again.

they surrounded us but did no yet attack. the forest phantom landed in front of us. so the seron packs have finaly met thier match. he said.

no.. I whimperd. the phantom gave the signal and the black serons all swarmed in to attack. the pack leaders and their fighters fought back. black serons treid to get to us. but they could not since they were defineantly not pure in heart. I trembled with terror when I heard. the silver leader is dead! then a few minuts later the grean leader is dead! and a few minuts later the green leader has been killed. I realized they were killing off all the leader so the fighters would be confused. then I heard one of the names I did not want to hear. The white leader has been killed! I heard marisol gasp. I knew she would be temped to go see him. then I heard soemthing els that I did not want to hear. the gold leader has been killed! I broke down into sobs. This could not be happening. the seron packs were being wiped out! my family was being killed, my freinds and I were trapped.. and every seron fighter was dying.
