The Forgotten Lands

Zelf, I swear. Your addiction has rubbed off onto me. I need some roleplay meds.

Okay--The Forgotten Lands is a medieval world that is simply...forgotten. It is filled with magic and magical creatures. The lands are being taken over by the Moniors (monster warriors) who are controlled by Legonomore and his assistant, Morphina. Legonomore is an extremely powerful and evil wizard and his sister, or assistant Morphina, can change into a powerful Monior herself.
The seven most powerful colonies of the creatures are the

Fairies (magical and fast) Taken by dramagirl
Elves (magical and agile) Taken by Lollipopper
Dwarves (know the land best and are excellent hiders)
Magical beings (wizards/witches) Taken by AnabellaSeron
Dragons (can morph into human form) Taken by Fairykind1711
Humans (they are NOT wimpy; they are fatal fighters)
Centaurs (fast and great in battle) Taken by babiebunny64

We are the most powerful beings of our colony besides the colony leaders (who are very old) and Legonomore. We are sent to spy on our enemy and protect the lands.

NOTE: once a group is chosen, you have to pick another. (I might change this rule in case there and more than seven who want to join or if they don't want to choose one of the remaining creatures)

Description: Average height for her age. Black curly hair that goes to the middle of her back. Icy blue eyes and slightly tan skin.
Personality: She is sweet and is friends with everyone but if you get on her bad side there is no going back to her good side.
Other: loves to cook anything and everything.

Description: dark brown long, wavy hair with bright blue eyes. Kind of short, pale, but not exactly white (I just described me, it's easier haha)
Personality: kind, but fierce. Sharp tounge, but sharper wits. Very sarcastic at times, but if you are close to her, she is gentle and soft spoken. Best with a sword when in her human form, but also very good with throwing knives and archery.
Other: she has one fatal flaw; her loyalty to her friends. Almost cost her her life before, and has a scar on her lower left side to prove it. (Like percy jackson haha)

The whole kingdom of the Forgotten lands were here. Every colony. Every being.
It was the choosing of the Elite Seven. One being from each colony would be chosen to join the Elite seven, and today was the day.
Everyone was hoping they would be the one of their colony--I mean EVERYONE. Most were self-centered and so much more weak than they thought they were.
The only people who would be chosen would be the most powerful, the most wise, the most agile of the groups.
It angered me of their selfishness.
"People of the Forgotten," a voice boomed over the thousands of beings here today, thanks to the Magical beings charming the announcer's voice to be almost deafening today. "Today is the choosing of the Elite seven. The Elite seven will be our most powerful weapons against the Moniors and forces of Legonomore!"
People screamed and cheered. It was unbelievably loud. Whoever would be chosen today would be the most powerful celebrities of the Forgotten.
Sitting in the center of the crowd was a huge podium for the leaders of each of the colonies. Colonies ranged from five-hundred to seven-hundred people, but people in the colonies were far from family. Everyone over the age of twelve lived on their own, but everyone still knew each other from educating and training, which was required from the ages of eleven to nineteen.
The counselor of the leaders was speaking for all of the beings. Everyone.
"A being shall be picked from each colony to serve the lands. The most wise, strong, and powerful!"
The emotion of the crowd changed to nervousness. Everyone was wishing it would be them. Sure, the Elite Seven would risk their lives for the lands, but it was worth it. At least in everyone's minds it was.
"In this order the council will announce the Elite seven. Fairies, Elves, Dwarves, Magical beings, Humans, Dragons, and Centaurs. Each of the Elite seven was elected by their own people of their colony, for they know them best. People were not allowed to vote for themselves, but for their second pick."
The crowd didn't die down.
The counselor of the council of leaders motioned for the fairy queen to come forth (although you could barely see her in the distance, all you could see was her magnificent glimmer). The queen flitted forward and nodded for the counselor to announce the first of the Elite Seven.
"The Elite being from the Fairy Realm is..." drums began to beat. "Hekate!"
The crowd roared in approval as the fairy from the fairy group came up. The other fairies were jealous, you could tell, even from the distance, but everyone knew who it would be in their colony. They knew who the most powerful was.
Now it was the Elves' announcement.
"The Elite being of the Elves are..." the drums began to roll again. Elves with pointed ears around me leaned forward passionately, wishing with all their might it would be them.
But it wasn't.
"Aragolas!" ((PS there are no last names in here; every name is different. There are no two alike names.))
My heart gave a little jump as I clutched my bow and arrows. I moved forward, ignoring glowering stares from the other Elves. Had they not expected it was me?
I moved forward through the Elves' section and headed up to the podium, which was very difficult. I couldn't just fly up there.
"Congratulations," said the Elfian leader. He was the oldest of the colony, but still in superb physical conditions. The Elves just didn't age.
I went over to the Elite fairy and nodded with a smile, the Elves' trademark greeting.
I stared over the immense crowd, all staring back at me. For the first time in a long while, I was scared.

I sat in my human form among the other dragons. Our colony had to be in human form because if we were all dragons at the present moment, we would take up too much space. The choosing of the elite was something I hadn't wanted to attend, but I had to anyways. Duties, duties. The selections had become monotonous eventually. The counselers liked to make a big show about everyone who was chosen. Finally they got down to the dragons.
"The Elite from the Dragon Realm is..." Everyone braces themselves for their names to be chosen. And when I thought about it, there were too many of us to have me chosen. The odds weren't in my favor, so I just sat back and leaned my head down. I was not braced or in any way ready for what happened next.
"Katniss."
I looked up. "Oh crap."

I watched from the forest's shadows as a dragon girl came forward. She wasn't ready for this at all. I could see it in her face. The humans were next. I didn't understand why the humans would come before the centaurs but....It was finally time for our colony. Our chief trotted up. In a booming voice, "Our Elite from the Centaur Region is.." We all waited in silence. "Sempter."

Standing up there I realized that there were hundreds of other dragons in the Dragon colony who were much more skilled then me. To them, I was a baby! My centuries had nothing on some of the elders millenia. What am I going to do?

Everyone in the Magical Beings section got quiet as they started our part of the choosing. I sat as still as possible. I didn't want to be the elite. If I did then...well...I don't know what would happen.
"The Elite from the Magical beings is...." I held my breath for the worst. I looked over at Marco, my brother, hoping it would be him. He deserved it and he was ready. "Mary Beth!" I gasped and snapped my head up. Everyone looked at me. I stood
"Uhm Sir!" I said. Maybe they would reconsider, "Are you sure that it is me? It should be someone other than me. I'm not ready for this responsibility." Marco hung his head and spoke to me in my mind, like all our family could do. You are embarrassing me Mary Beth, just get up there already. We will talk tonight. I looked at him and nodded. He was my best friend. I couldn't let him down. I took a deep breath and walked up to the stand, my head hanging, shyly.

I stood up there with the other elites waiting for the others to be chosen.

Soon the announcing was over. Thousands of disappointed faces sat there in the crowd, but they knew that they had chosen well.
"These are your Elite Seven!" the counselor said. He ran through everyone's names again, along with their colony. "A celebration will be held in each colony on account of the choosing. The seven have until tonight when the eighth star touches the horizon. ((that's kind of how they tell time)).
With that, a flock of unicorns glided down and picked us up.
"These same unicorns will bring you to us tonight!" the counselor yelled to us as we flew away.
