"I ment down after we went into the sewer." I mumbled beginning to follow

Travelling back to the school was quick. We told the headmaster what had happened, each from our own point of view. He listened without comment and took the staff with him into his inner office to examine it. Letting go of the staff was almost like losing a part of myself to him. Which was fantastic because it meant it had bonded to me. Only ancient weapons did that. 'Perhaps as old as the headmaster' I thought to myself with a smile. I felt through the ground rather than saw Jack walking nearby as I tried to find a specific metal in the ground.

"Aight....well...bye then, I guess," I said, starting towards the door.

((Something cliche now...))

Suddenly the alarm bells began ringing. We were being attacked!

"One thing into another" I muttered to myself, though immendiatly after I knew someone was going to ridicule me.

"Well, this certainly makes things interesting," I said, smiling and laughing.

"Indeed, indeed. Let's find out what's hapening."

I looked to the headmaster. "Who the heck could be attacking us!?" I half-shouted.

He shrugged. "Zombies, pirates, fish, lizards, cats, aliens, dragon, witchs, wizards. Considering the school you're in it could be just bout anything. I'll let the students try and handle it and if they can't well then I'll consider destroying it."

"Cats!?" I shouted sarcastically, "oh, then we're screwed!" I sprinted out of the room, trying not to laugh.

"Headmaster missed one, looks like it's just a small band of warriors." I said, checking at one of the windows.

"ya know, sometimes i wish i was a bow user," I told her, looking longingly at the men, "I could just snipe them from here. But then I remind myself, then I'd have to use a bow. And that would make me a pansy." I laughed, broke a window, and jumped into the lawn.

"Sometimes, I wish I was a bird, but then I realize, I don't actually want to be a bird." I said with a smile, following him out the window.

"Alright, step back, I want to try something," I said, making sure all the students were behind me. I pulled out my blade. It almost glowed in the daylight. I swept my hand across it and it erupted in flames. I heard some of the newer students gasping in awe. But that wasn't the exciting thing. I shoved my blade into the ground, and tried to focus the flame through the ground and underneath one of the intruders. It sorta worked...but the intruder wasn't there. My aim wasn't very good... a tree caught on fire pretty bad...

"I got this." I said directing the fire from the tree onto the intended intruder. He ran back towards his buddies and caught several of them on fire.

"Show off" I muttered, pulling my sword out of the ground and charging it with electricity.

"Ha! I just cleaned up your mess." I called to him with a grin. I didn't wait to see his response before I again moved the fire into another clump of attackers, but I did make sure it wasn't the same group that ((13ob)) was charging towards.

I was following just a bit behind the other two, not sprinting down the hall way. Coming outside I looked around and sent two balls of energy that erupted into blue flames, consuming them. "Mind if I join you?"

"A bit," I said, charging into action.

"That sucks for you" I said, summoning more energy.

These warriors never seemed to stop coming. They were endless to the extreme.

I closed my eyes and saw the battle. Warships were docking and soldiers were streaming out by the dozen. I sighed, I thought their nation was wiped out centries ago. Apparently a few had survived and recreated their civilization. This was going to be a long drawn out battle unless I decided to end it. "I suppose I can test my students" I sounded an alarm and now the academy was joining the fight in full force. Blades flashed, magic lit up, and arrows wizzed.

The battle was becoming quite impressive. Common courtesy of war demanded that at sundown the battle stopped and began again at first light. I quite enjoyed such rules, like if one side needed to stop and bury their dead, both sides stopped. It was a "more polite" way to wage war.

The self proclaimed Knights of Awesomeness (consisting of Me, my giant friend Gus, and his little brother Steve, who was wicked fast) were doing great. Gus would charge into the enemies, using his magic to give himself extra defense, while Kyle would would use his crossbow to do lots of damage quick, and then I'd jump in with a Burning Blade to finish things off. We were quite the team.

Energy flew around me. I was happy for the nights rest but this was tiring.
