I blinked, surprised. then smiled. "Well, I donno, would a girl like me be safe with a gentleman like yourself?"

"I don't see why not. Your in your home town. What power would I have were people to not want me here. And if your threated I have a nice sharp sword." I grinned, she was playing now.

((Since Temora is turning into a semi normal character, this is what she looks like. ))

I laughed. I couldn't help it. "Just give me a moment to get my brother in here. He can watch the shop while I am gone." I ran upstairs and knocked on my brothers door. He opened it, looking a little grumpy. "You owe me. I watched the shop last night so you could go out with your friends, it's my turn." I told him. He opened his mouth to argue but I cut him off, "How often do I ask you for anything?" I demanded. He had no answer. so I left him grumbling about his headache and went back downstairs. "Well good sir, before we depart we should properly introduce ourselves. My name is Temora."

This was working out well. "I'm Shane." I offered my hand. "Would you like to lead the way?"

I smiled with amusement. "Certainly." I took his hand and we walked out into the sunlight. It was a beautiful day, I was almost sad when we got to the little restaurant and went back indoors. But it was a cozy little place, and I loved the food there, so it didn't last long. Shian was running the place today. she looked surprised to see a stranger with me, but she didn't say anything. We sat down and she came over and gave us a list of the specials. I ordered the roast duck, my favorite, then she turned to Shane. "I hope you are a proper gentleman and are going to pay for her food." She said sternly. I stifled a giggle. Shian lectured everyone about everything. I knew I would get an earful soon enough about going to dinner with strangers. Her lecture on manners completed to her satisfaction she reverted back to waitress. "What would you like?" she asked him. He looked a little startled at the abrupt changes. I shot him a apologetic look.

I felt bad. She seemed like the type of person who was going to give this poor girl a hard time later. I decided to not decide for myself. "What would you recommend, Temora?"

I contemplated, staring at the ceiling for a moment as I silently went through the menu in my head. "The goat soup is good, the roast duck is my personal favorite, annnnd, the fish is pretty good too." I said, mentally rejoining Shane and Shian at the table.

I smiled. "I'll take the fish she mentioned." This should be fun.

As soon as she was gone I laughed. "I am sorry, I forgot she was working today."

"I don't mind. People can be quite amusing. So do you just work here at your fathers shop?" I figured I'd start learning things and she what she wanted to know. I was gonna have fun.

I sighed, "Yes, I have for years. there isn't much else to do around here except get married, and selling weaponry and bribing my brother to teach me how to use it is much more interesting. What do you do?"

I grinned. My job was a little more complected. "I travel, see things. Fight a little here and there for money. And move on the next day typically. So your brother doesn't teach you how to fight?"

It was my turn to grin, "He didn't used to, but then I threatened to tell dad he was going out and getting drunk with his friends every night. Then I would bribe him by offering to work some of his shifts. between the two he had to give in."

"That's one way to get your way. So your a dangerous pretty lady?"

The Bounty was enjoying himself well enough over his meal so I ducked out the back and climbed onto the roof. The other Hunters would pick up his scent soon, then the real fun would begin.

"I have three weapons hidden on my person at the moment, and I know how to use them." Before he could reply the food came. I waited till she was gone then continued, "Although I have no real experience with them seeing as a dummy doesn't fight back... Want to try some duck?" I pushed the plate towards him.

I saw a flash of darkness in the back of the room. A door opening and it stilled. "Thank heavens." I muttered under my breath letting out a sigh.
"That's really neat. Perhaps I could train with you some time." I took a bite of the duck. "Not bad." I said, tilting my head a little. "Never had it before." I finished after swallowing.

I saw his eyes focus on something behind me for a moment, and he tensed a little, but after a moment he relaxed. I wondered what he had seen, but resisted truing around. "So does that mean you are hanging around for a while, long enough to train with me, or do you plan on coming back?" I was actually interested to know. this stranger intrigued me, and I wanted to get to know him better.

This was strange for me as I never really knew what my future entitled. "I honestly don't know." I was thinking of what to say. She seemed nice but I wanted to be careful to not mention the strange elf girl. "I travel a lot but I like this place. The last day or so has been quite strange for me actually." This girl is the first person to really be intrested in anything I said. "Are all 3 weapons knives?"

"One of them is." I decided to mess with him a little and left the other two hanging. how long would his curiosity last?

I blinked slighlty surprised. I hadn't been expecting that answer. Quickly my mask came back to my face and I smiled. "So I see you like to play games as well. I like you more and more."

I narrowed my eyes a little. A true master then. "What fun is life if there is nothing to challenge the mind?"

"I suppose." I thought for a second. "Sounds like the life I follow. Livee for a challenge. I could find out easily but I think you may have some task in mind perhaps."

I contemplated the question. "There are a couple of options. But I think the option I like best is going with you on your travels. Should you not mind of course." I sat back and waited to see how he would react. I would have liked to play around that one a little more, but sometimes straight forward was better.

I smiled a little. The corner of my mouth turning up. She took the bother out of asking. "I'd be fine with that. If you could handle it." My turn to play games. I finished the last of my fish.
