It had been quiet for a while when Vinrik spoke. I jumped a little. That was fast. "Well, all the wards are up and working." I commented.
(Can the vamps be hurt by silver or any of the other classic wards?)

((unless magic thinks otherwise then silver and holy water. no garlic or anything))

((okies i shall make my character show up at light speed!! what happened to your other characters anyway? Btw… she is a classic vampire, she must 'eat' one of her family members to become a full vampire so of course she will be affected by crosses, garlic, holy water and most of all sunlight.))
My desperate running took me to a small house, snuggled far from prying eyes. I briefly wondered if I should have told the vampire guards my baby brothers name so they could track him too. Too late. I stood firmly down and started to summon my power.

I opened the door. I had found another bracelet like the one I had put on Coryn, and had it on my wrist. And there were wards all around the door and in the walls. I was safe, for now. "You are not welcome here." I said, glaring.

"I hope they don't have a whole horde here already"

The girl was back, I did not answer her, but instead raised my hand, full of dark crackling power, blasted her back into the room. I tried to walk inside but was unable to, even with the door ripped to shreds. I was confused, the magic I sent out should have destroyed most of the wall instead of blowing the door to splinters.

I was listening, but not really paying attention, I glared defiantly at this girl, who would eat a baby, who would quench her thirst by stealing the life of a child. I felt my tail twitch. Great, I was walking the line between Panther and girl. We were one right now, and it had to stay that way. I was stronger this way, but I could easily slip into panther form without meaning too, and would not be as much use for anyone. She walked towards me and the door splintered and fell away. and I was blown back. But she couldn't enter. She looked confused. I sprang into a cat-like crouch. "I said you aren't welcome." My voice came out as a hiss, this girl was really annoying me.

"Why do you want this child dead?" I demanded. "He is a baby, he hasn't even had time to do anything to anybody!"

"Exacly. Why do you have to murder a child to do this?!" I demanded. She seemed so shocked at the question. Did she have no moral? Maybe I was taking this more personally, the tiny baby boy looked so much like my own brother. But at the same time, even if he didn't, he was still a child. An innocent being with no control of what happened to him.

"This is jacked up. There are better ways to keep people alive"

I waved my hand at the stream nearby, drawing the water up and around to us. "You are better off in spirit form, Yes?" I said to Vinrik. I kept my eyes on the man who had just appeared.
