Death Sentance

We are modern day teens living in a city. We are all in the same homeroom. When we are in homeroom an announcement is said through the intercom it says that we all have only a week to live, unless we are able to find four things: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. We don't understand what this means, but immeadiatly after the announcement sounds a man runs into our class and asks for us. He is wearing a black cloak. Our teacher doesnt let him, but he makes a desk burst into flames. We go with him and our adventure starts...

Other: her mum disappeared and her dad is a photographer. Keitha is vegetarian.

Description: Pink hair always in pigtails, pink eyes to match
Personality: Relentlessly sunny outlook, seems quite ditzy and naive actually very smart and experienced

Weapon: Long daggers
Other: Grew up in a rainforest area, she is always willing to go on an adventure.

Personality: is outgoing and likes everyone in the homeroom exept Kent (and other water people)

It was a dreary monday morning, rain falling down steadily. I was in homeroom, upset that i had to be in school after spring break. Just as Mr. Smith was about to take attendance there was an announcement. A voice that sounded slightly farmiliar said, "Hello students. I have an urgent announcement. All of you will die...unless you find four things for me. They are fire, water, wind, and earth. Thank you."

Description: Green eyes, black hair, and tan skin. Is usually wearing jeans, and combat boots.
Personality: Friendly, but cautious, It takes her a while to trust anyone
Element: Water
Weapon: A short sword, and a knife.
Other: she grew up doing a lot of running, her father was abusive, and her mother was afraid of him. She would still be running if the law hadn't found her. She now lives in foster homes.

Age: 15
Description: pale, bolnde hair w natural red, brown eyes. Petite. always has a bow in hair and wears shoes to match her bright, solid shirts
Personality:mostly invisible, reads through class, but when you get to know her, she's really funny, quick sense of humor

So much for a regular boring dull morning at school. On regular boring dull mornings, strange people did not get on the intercom and tell us we were dead unless we found the four elements. Not that I was complaining. I'd dealt with these boring normal mornings at school for 6 months, since the cops found me, and I was getting restless. I was nice to have something new and unknown. Even if it was cryptic.

I paused my reading momentarilly. to hear the announcement. "One of your friends breaking into the office, Zelio? It's a bit early for senior pranks, three years and fort three days to be precise"

"Zelio is in the office already? I wonder what he did this time?" I turned to the quiet kid beside me. "Hey, Kent, you wanna go see what he did this time?"

I was about to answer, but then the door burst open. Suddenly a man in a black cloak appeared in the room. A hood covered his face.
"I need some students," he said calmly.
"WHO ARE YOU!" Mr. Smith shouted
"I mean you no harm. I only want Kent, Keitha, Vanille, Zelio, Kaira, and Cheyrl. Thank You." the man responded.
"No!" Mr. Smith responded.
Suddenly Mr. Smith's desk exploded into flames.
"We'll go," i said. "Or at least i will."

This was all strange. I played with my hair pin until I decided what to do. I stood up. "I'll go too" I said as I walked to Kent.

I jumped up and walked over. At last a way out!

I could feel eyes boring into the back of my head but i kept reading. when a spark hit the page of my book i extinguished it quickly, then got up to join the tohers

"Sounds fun! Where are we going?" I asked. I jumped from my chair and practically skipped out the door into the hall.

I left my book and my first aid kit behind i was slightly apprehensive but something told me it was going to be worth it

I came into the classroom just in time to see Mr. Smith's desk become firewood. Wow, this guy's my hero , i thought. nonetheless, i followed along with the party of people

I found myself skipping down the halway

I smiled. this guy was special, like me, so i wasnt a freak afterall. I thought as i made a flame dance in my palm

I followed the others down the hall. Now that I was out of the class room I was starting to have second thoughts. Who was this guy? And why did he want us?

I laughed slightly airrily

"so what are we doing?" i asked
"follow me," he said.

"What does it look like we're doing..." I muttered.

I looked at the others as I followed. Some where happy and exited, some wre nervous, I didn't know what I was.

I just followed as well
