destruction.

"We are out, Child. I suppose to wouldn't know that because you passed out." I continued leading my mule.

I did not say anything. I could not foucas on anything for more then a few seconds.

I threw the guys off of me and sliced them to meices

"where are the others?" I finaly said.

The dart came out of no where. I saw it coming at me from the corner of my eye. I reacted with a flash, turning to face it, but it was too late, and the last thing i saw was the dart potruting from my neck before the world spun and it went black.

"The others are--or at least were-- covering our tracks. However, they won't do much in stopping your pursuers." I carefully turned the mule around a bend.

I shifted a little winceing at the pain. "our warriors were pathetic when they invaded" I mutterd.

"Your warriors have always been pathetic pitiful creatures. Never have they actually faced an opponent that was trying to take their life."

"That is true" I said. "They have lways thought we were too powerfull to defeat. the King is probably dead by now. or if not going to be very shortly"

"Your warriors weren't always this way. There was a time when they were better than they claim now. Those fighters didn't proudly march through the streets. Those fighters actually fought to save their families and homes. Too many gave their lives to these invaders before. This should not have happened again." I glared at something in my memories.

"must have been a long time ago" I said. "in the last thousand years iv'e been alive they have been stuck up fools"

"It was a very long time ago. Any more Time passes me by without notice."

I climed down from the mule. I was able to walk on my own now. I kept one had on one of my swords in case we were attacked again.

I was faintly concious of a low thrum, but was out too cold to make anything of it.

I felt like something was wrong. "we have to go back for the others" I said.

(great, now i cant do anything... or can i?)
The thrumming got louder. I subconciously realized it was semetrical.

I began to listen to the sounds around me. I could hear our breathing, and a low thrumming sound. The sound began to vibrate the air.

"ok that is weird, only their..." I paused mid sentence. "Their commander is really close" I said. "he makes that exsact sound, or someone he has touched"

It was now a roaring sound, filling my ears. i was still unconcious though

I heard it getting louder, it was comeing from behind us.

I turned towards the sound and went towards it. I just had a feeling (9kevin)) needed help. just when I got to him the commander was standing over him. the commander of the invaders was not what you would call a human. but he was in the shape of one.

The noise penetrated my conciousness- voices. I needed help- I was slowly dying.... "Help..." i muttered barly more than i whisper
