Things you misunderstood when you were younger.

one of my freinds when he was little, thought that when his parents said to eat all yur food, he thought to meant you have to eat not only the food, but the plate, the cup, the silverware, etc.... so one day after dinnner he hid for half an hour.. becuase he wasent able to eat his cup...

(Shame, shame.)
that is pretty funny.
I used to think that for the smoke detector to go off you HAD to push the button. So if there was a fire, somebody would have to press the button

lol, kinda defeats the purpose of the detector.

i know, but i also thought that when the alarm went off, it wold contact the firemen.
...this also is tied into my story about Timon (yes, the meercat from the Lion King) beingmy friend, becaus e when i was four,all these disney characters would live in my bedroom because the house that they all lived in burned down (They had a special smoke detector withlike 100 buttons)

hahaha... my brother had an imgagineary freind. he pointed to some random house and said he lived there....

i never really had an imaginary friend, besides timon, i mean

I used to have one.. I forgot his name..

i was really weird as i child, i didn't have a blankie or a really vivid imaginary friend. i din't really suck my thumb either.

I used to fold my ear and suck my fingers when I slept.

I think thats why i need braces now...

they aren't that bad, i mean, at first its really annoyung. They have to dry out your mouth to put the brackets on then the cement tastes NASTY, and the whole not really being able to eat the first few days because your not used to having a 1/8 inch extention coming off your teeth, but its not really that bad after ahwile. just hope you don't need an expander. those HURT

I probably wont be able to get them for a while..

braces are like the chicken pox. the older you are when you get them, the worse they are

oh, that makes me feel so much better I was gonna get them two years ago. but we got held up. ((by a house...))

don't worry, there are four adults in my ward who i can think of off the top of my head who have had braces i nthe past few yeas

I decided not to get braces. Having straight teeth isn't worth paying a bunch of money and not being able to eat certain foods.

I used to think teachers lived in the school.

When we go camping my brother and I collect the kindling for the fire. Apparently when we were little, he used to think it was called Kidling, because it was the kids job to collect it.

My imaginary friend was Casper, the friendly ghost. I would let him go through doors before me, he got to eat off my plate be for I did. Then my mom got a goldfish and named it Casper.

Let's be honest: I used to think South Carolina was in the southern hemisphere... and that my uncle was alien... although he might just be one, to be honest...

I also at one time believed I was Japanese, and was the daughter of a Samuri...

Geez, that was only eight and a half years ago!

Honestly... I didn't know how to pronounce my name when I was little... I called myself Jack*** a few times by accident...lol... I invented my JC and Jackie nickname after that.

Oh! And, I used to think that whenever I watched a movie with actors (Not animation) that they're acting it LIVE. Also, I couldn't say CAT, I say TAC when I was, like, six...
