The Perfect Children?

No longer what they made you to be, you were cast out. And rounded up. You have been released into the wild with the rest of your kind, in the hopes that you will die. I watched as another wagon full of kids was dropped off here. How many of us were there? Oh, well might as well welcome these new kids as well. "Welcome, to your new home! You won't enjoy our cuisine, or our bathrooms, but you won't be in a city!" I spoke as if I was trying to sell something. Perhaps I was, maybe I was trying to convince them I was really as happy as I seemed. I doubt it.

"Hey, Crite! We got more!" I called into our camp as I led the new kids in.

"Hi Solara! I'm very happy to see you, but where are we?" I said with a shy smile

"As far as I can tell, the middle of a forest." I said with a grin.

"ah, ok, but towards where do we go? I can't remember nothing." I said with a sad face

"You'll be okay don't worry." I said as I barked out orders to some kids that were just standing around.

"Okay, thank you!" But I was not completely sure

I didn't fully understand where I was. But I knew why. I watched as kids ran around doing things at the order of Sol. She was the leader type. Always was.

"Damon, get out of that tree and go help find supper." I ordered. "Please." I added as an after thought.

I jumped down. "Fine. But there better be a fire when I get back."

I reached into the hollow of the tree and took out a crossbow. "let's see what I can get with this..." I murmured. I walked into the forest looking for a good spot to catch some game.

"Don't make a noise." I had caught sight of a group of deer. I carefully aimed my bow. Someone stepped on a twig, the arrow flying in an arc missing the deer that scattered. "What did I tell you?!" I said, whipping around seeing someone a lot shorter then me. I took a deep breath. "Sorry. Just be more careful." A half hour later, the 5 of us lugged back 2 deer, a rabbit, and 4 squirrels.

I had a large fire going. "It's about time you got back."

I stuck out my tongue. "Well you try catching all this!"

"I have to catch people who wonder off." I pointed out.
