The smell of the cooking deer was almost irresistable.

I broke off a thin tree branch and sat down on a log. I took a slab of meat and put it through the stick.

As we ate the deer, I studied a map I had swiped off a Templar. It was more detailed about this area than most maps. It even depicted the area the Dalish liked to inhabit when they were around.

((we have to get the city elves too right?))

We ate in silence. I was extremely uncomfortable. I kept glancing at logan for some reason. Then Lyna stood up suddenly.

"We have company." I said as I stared into the woods beyond the fire's light.

I sighed. "Who is it?" I said coldly, my voice echoing through the forest. I held out my blade, ready to strike.

I glared at the girl coldly. "No..." I spoke, gripping my blade.

I looked at the dwarf weirdly. She seemed faintly familiar, but I couldn't place a name.

"Rikka, if yer memories are that bad. It hasn't been that long for cryin' out loud." Lyna spoke to me. "Welcome back Rikka. Perhaps you would enjoy some of our delicious deer."

The short Dwarf plopped down next to me. After eating we all slept in our own tents. The next morning, we packed up and headed east to the Dalish encampment. The Brecelian forest was easy for me to navigate, because I had grown up here. The others had some problems with the undergrowth and keeping up.

I scrunched up my eyebrows. I drew out my blade and slashed all the undergrowth down.

I smiled at the attempt to fight back at the forest. "The trees will start attacking you if you do that too much." I warned.

"Do you think I care?" I said coldly and continued slashing the under-growths.
