Okay, sorry guys! I am so sorry! I'm begging for forgiveness! *Gets on knees and begins to grovel*
Anyway, the beginning of this takes place at the Keeper's School. And FYI, it's a castle. And we wear robes like in Harry Potter.

I trudged through the dungeon's halls for my next class. My worst class.
Alchemy. I had just gotten done with Psychronogy, the class for psychic and mind abilities. Psychronogy was my specializing class.
I came to the big, eight-foot wooden door with a brass handle. I was about to walk in when a familiar voice echoed down the hall.
"Sierra," it was Sharra, a fellow student. She shared multiple classes with me.
"Yeah?" I asked, stepping back from the door.
"Intruders were spotted climbing up the mountain. All students are to gather in the entrance hall."
"The entrance hall? Won't that be where the intruders will come in?"
"If they get past the barriers, then we're going to fight them."

There I stood in the Entrence hall. All this nervousness was seriously starting to rub off on me. Mr. (principal's name) had told asked me to help everybody feel calm and confident, but this was extremly hard to do , because i was a bit nervous, making eveybody else MORE nervous, making me even MORE nervous.

"thats IT! " i shouted. "we need to calm down" i added weakly.
i bean to sing the first lines of the Star Spangled Banner. It had always added a bit of confience, knowing that our forefathers had been able to fight off such a big group of people when they didn;t have anything to fight with.

Everybody joined in,some adding harmony parts, and i began a descant part. I began to fel warmer inside. as the final chord of the song came, i sang a high C. I was definatly confident now, and everybody seemed to become a little more relaxed.

I was the one sitting in the corner. I felt lazy right now.

I snuck away during the singing. I knew who the intruder was, and I wasn't about to let him get caught.

I walked to seirra.
"sharra is gone," i said
"what? how do you know?" she asked
"It's her nature."

Forcing everybody to be confident made me tired... which was funny, i was never tired after using my powers, this was almost suspicious i thought...
I fell off the table that i had been standing on, unconscious

I saw Melody collapse. I wanted to help but was a little too scared. I watched as everyone gathered around her murmuring.

i heard voices from my unconsious state....
its them! One of them has powers to make people sleep
Why Melody?
maybe she's in thier way?

Mine & AJ's heads whipped over to Melody. There was already a swarming crowd around her.
"I think she'll be fine," I murmured.
With a bored look he said, "With all those people, yes. But what are we doing standing here?"
I raised a brow. "What are we supposed to be doing?"
"Finding Sharra. We're not letting her do this alone."
I thought about this for a moment. Sneaking away with AJ to find Sharra would be risky. He was a known trouble maker, but a good friend. Plus, I had a feeling we would be going towards the intruders.
I nodded. "You're right. Let's go."
He set off down the hall.

Suddenly everyone stopped talking. I could feel a strong presence outside the entrance hall.

((Intruders will be coming in from everywhere, just to let you know...))

As we were creeping down the message passageway (we called it that because at night, kids would exchange messages there. Teachers never knew it was there because it was hidden) I felt the air get colder. I could see my breath and I was tripping over my robes.
"AJ," I hissed. I couldn't see him.
"What?" he asked loudly beside me. I smacked him on the arm.
"Quieter. Does something feel...different to you?"
Then, we were both grabbed from behind. We were held up against the wall, two people holding our necks.
"Star pupils, are they?" Said a gravely voice.
"Just kill 'em. Wish we could take the powers out of them," rasped another voice.
The first voice chuckled. "Yeah, that'd be useful."
I heard a knife being drawn.
"Now would be a good time to use our powers," choked out AJ.
"Agreed," I choked back. At the same time, AJ released his powers on one of the intruders while I fought another. It was easy--I could read every move he was about to do, and the future ones. I was good in physical combat, but ran out of steam fast.
The intruders were knocked out in a matter of seconds. AJ leaned down, hesitating to kill them, but I stopped him. We heard a scream.
Sharra.

fear as a vert strong emotion... it was that in such a high concentrated dose that pulled me to the surface...
i sat up and went to find everybody while the others were distracted

"RUN!" I shouted and we shot down message passageway.
"What do you think-?" But he was caught in mid-sentence.
There were screams--multiple screams--in the opposite directions.
AJ and I exchanged looks. We were confused of where to go.
"Sharra first," he decided instantly and we continued running in the same direction.

Enemies were coming from all sides. I quickly stood up and twisted the air to force them back. A lot of them staggered from the force of the wind. Then I raised some rock in the air and pelted them at them.

I could hear massive crashes coming from the entrance hall, even from here, a half-mile beneath the castle.
"They're here," I said.
"Ya think?!" AJ shot when we skid to a stop. Sharra was tied up and gagged in front of us.
"Sharra!" I cried in relief and dropped to my knees, un-knotting her. Her eyes widened in surprise, but it turned to wide terror. She was staring behind us and yelling through the gag, but we couldn't understand her.
"What is it?" I asked.
There was a oof! behind me. I saw AJ fighting another intruder.

More and more kept coming. I was surprised by the numbers. We were never gonna defeat them, especially since we're kids. But then again, we have the powers.

((This is where we retreat and meet outside. All the other students will be held captive at the school.))

I took down as many as I could. When They started overpowering us, I ran outside. I saw Melody a few yards ahead of me. Wow. Great minds think alike.

I could see Kacia approaching soon after i had left. She was tird, then sarchastic and relieved, probably to see me...
