The shattering

my other Rps have kind of died off, and i dont want to jump into anyone else's because there's a lot of content to catch up with, and to be frank I dont want to read through all of it.

Here's a new scenario we can all enjoy! I'm straying from my usual love of monsters and myth and i've set this 2000 years in the future far beyond the stars as we know them!!!
WARNING! THIS WILL CONTAIN SOME STRONG CONTENT!
and by 'strong' I mean intense gore, lots of juicy drama, some very scary monsters, and made up swear words!

The galaxies name is Doma, and the setting is an intergalactic meeting between two warring species....

the Yo'un- a humanoid aquatic mammal-like species /peaceful
and the Malus- a humanoid reptilian race/ very agressive
here to help solve the issue are the.....
Humans....(starship-Integra, crew: 13,)
Venonites- a humanoid race of mammal-like creatures, they strongly resemble big cats / ?neutral?

The Venonites are very cultured, but a fierce race, (as if the spartians combined their strength with the athenians). They have ties with Humans, Yo'un, and Malus.
The Yo'un are forced to live on a dying world by the Malus, they are threatening war to get their freedom.
The Malus hate the Yo'un for reasons unknown and wish to terminate them as slowly as possible.

The council of earth has requested this meeting to try to avoid another intergalactic war, (their ties to the Yu'on mean that they would have to fight to save precious trade and medical supplies). The last nearly wiped them out, the whole population is down to about 1 1/2 million survivors.

Now i'm going to introduce cast, i need a few key people in order for this to work!

Venonite royalty- the representative of their planet overseeing the events unfolding. (im playing this one)
Yo'un royalty- the representative of the Yu'ons interests.
Malus representative- the ruler of their planet does not wish to directly speak so this person speaks for them.
The Integras Captain- human representative of earths interests

Rules- NO GOD CHARACTERS!!!!! OR CHARACTERS THAT ARE RIDICULOUSLY STRONG!!!! THEY MUST HAVE FAULTS AND WEAKNESSES!!!
1. have some gadgets and mystical powers... THERE WILL BE FIGHTING!!!!!
2. be creative!!!!! if you want i can draw your character, color it, photograph it and email it to you! (but be patient if you ask!, art takes some time)
3. you can have more than one character! just separate them by color, and name

4. be a good sport when fighting!
5. no controlling other characters!
6. please remember these are important people, when they are discussing war do not use slang unless your character is a block-headed guard.
7. romance if AWESOME! a little drama goes a long way!
8. no half and half creatures, the aliens have enough going on as it is.

Important note..... i will be playing
the Venonites queen, (and her guard who happens to be Yu'on)
the malus leader, whoever picks to be the Malus representative i hope will be willing to portray a tortured characters woe as their leader controls them. (the whole time the representative is trying to warn everyone about something BIG AND BAD, but the leader wont let them because of mind control. PS. its a big secret!!!!)
and the humans ship doctor, (someone else can have this role if they want, i just thought it would be important to have a doctor!)

Skills: His tail is a deadly weapon, its whip-like speed makes it so fast humans can't see it move, He is very flexible and strong.

Description: he looks like a mix between the two races. I'm going to list which body part looks like which species, but there are influences of each in all areas.

Tail: Venonite...
Arms: start human, but turn into venonite
Legs: same as arms
All of his hair is black, and his eyes are green.
(It would be cool to see a picture of this character...wink wink...nudge nudge)
History: When he was a young child, both of his parents died. He was shunned by the two species he belongs to, for he was different from the rest. He became a hitch-hiker on spaceships until he eventually found his way to the Yo'un home world. Instead of being shunned here, he was welcomed in. This is because the Yo'un have a legend about a half Venonite, half human soldier that would bring peace to their land. He is a personal assistant and adviser to the royalty.
Personality: Will stand up for what he thinks is right. He is very opinionated, and therefore gets in fights quite easily.

Hey ummm... 13obtgepirate you're not gonna jump out on us like you did last time right? Starting out with "I was board..." doesn't bode well. I just want to make sure 'cause I was interested in your character last time and then you just quit.
And also, after re-reading both posts, it almost sounds like the story has been re-written. Ask magic with a message for the history first.

^yes you may cat, and i totally agree with your post too, if you're going to roleplay with me i want some commitment. like cat, tiana and (ezuri) the black lord, they kept with netherworld for a while and if we were to RP together i can trust them not to flake out like 13obthepirate did. BTW, i specifically said (and hi-lighted) no god characters or ridiculously strong characters, you're character looks like a god character with the whole 'chosen one' thing. Here's something to remember if you still decide to be in my RP or any others in the future. every character is equally important, no one is set aside as 'special' until the characters themselves proves their importance. You cant just come in with this important character and LEAVE like you did last time, everyone waited for you to post and you never did. if you're that busy that you cant find the time to post everyday, or every other day, why would you make such a significant character? if you leave the way you did in netherworld it messes up the plot, and everyone has to find a way to compensate for your absence. You can't flake, you have to commit to a story, i work hard on my ideas and when i post them on here i expect a certain level of commitment to them. i was really bummed out that you left netherworld, if you're going to have an important character in this RP then you have to be more serious about the story and be interested in it. Don't just make up this wild character just because you're bored and want me to draw a picture.

Well, I agree completely; commitment is required. One must also take into consideration limitedness of the internet and its accessibility. I would like to join, but I will say now that my availability will be completely random. I will understand if you do not want me on here. ok, im only able to answer this right now because im at york college and i have Internet access, i wont be home for a couple more days, but bear with me ok? ezuri i know you're committed and you're more serious about it when you RP so of course you may join, you dont have to play the suggested character roles, if you dont want to, email me your ideas ok? link is above. and Miara, i would like to RP with you, but if this RP ends up going by very fast and you cant get on every other day but only occasionally then i dont think this is for you, if its anything like my other one, netherworld, it may go very fast and that wouldn't be fair for someone who cant keep up. its up to you, but if your availability is random then i suggest you pick a smaller character role.
