it took me a moment to remember why her name seemed familiure. "oh! your the seron all the leaders know!"

"Yes, Amy. Do you remeber me?" I asked.

I smiled and stole another furtive glance at petal. She looked so much like...I hoped nobody noticed.

I was looking from petal to lucy. they looked so much alike. dad said petal was adopted... could lucy be...

The child was catching on so I switched forms, becoming a seron, then excusing ymsefl before the colors changed.

I was curious now.

(Petal)
I stared after her, feeling something strange. "Lucas you stay. I'll take care of Haden, Amy, and Joucelyn."

((joucelyn))

"she looks a lot like you petal.."

"She has brown eyes. ITs not that rare among serons, sis."

((joucelyn))

"I know. but there are other things that are the same too"

I knew that. I'd seen her too, but now was not the time. "Come on, We need to get to that waterfall"

"ok" I skipped beside her.

There it was! We finally got to a tunnel that would take us the way safely

"that looks like a long tunnle" I tried to sound brave. I hesitated to try new things. but once I got started it wasn't so bad. this was one of those new things.

((haden))

"come on!" I ran into the tunnle

"wait haden we don;t even know what's....." he was already gone.

I sighed and picked up a small stone from the the ground and caused it to glow.

we caught up to haden, who was looking at some writings on the wall.

"Haden? What do they say?"

((haden))

"I don't know. they are written in the old language"

I stood in front of it and began tracing the runes, reading. It only took me a second to realize "These are new and in a child's handwriting!"

"you mean there is another clear hatchling?"

"It HAS to mean that! I'm not alone!"

"do yoiu plan on looking for them some time?"
