"I think he;s protecting us"

"I don't care its scaring me"

I sat by her. "just remember that he is threatneing something els. not you"

"How are you not so afraid?"

"I'm the kid who will see how close he can get to a sleeping bear" I reminded her.

'yeah am I'm the kid that ends up getting hit by your bear remeber?"

"yeah sorry about that."

I rolled my eyes.

I peeked around the corner just in time to see another seron attack the adult seron. this other one had black scales. I ducked back begind the house and could now hear the sounds of large animals fighting.

"We have to get the little one!" I screamed and ran out into the mayhem

I ran out after her. I could not beleive I was doing this. i was dareing but not that dareing.

QUickly as I could I scooped up the hatchling we were helping and began runnning back to where we were, but then I felt a firey pain hit my back.

the black seron had shot an engery ball at my freind. the other seron attacked before he could shoot another.

everything went bllack

the hatchling was small so I put her in one of my large pockets. then i oulled my freind to saftey. I laided her down not sure what to do. "please be ok!"

I slipped out of where I had been hiding just in case I was needed. I punced out and growled feircly at the black seron.
He turned and ran

I was panting from the fight. the girl got hit we need to go help her.

(Abbie)
You're the better healer than I. I'll go calm down the boy.

I was so scared. i did not know if my freind would be ok.


((tanner))

I walked over to the girl. my scales glowed as I began to heal her.

(Abbie)
I walked over to where the boy was, shifting forms without thinking as I got closer. I held my hands to my sides, palms facing him to show I was unarmed. Not that I needed weapons. "I'm Abbie." I told him softly.

Everything was foggy and I felt warm inside. Slowly I opened my eyes and tensed sligthly in surprise.

((tanner))

I turned into my human form. "it's ok. I'm tanner."


((ayden))


"where did you come from?"

I blinked, "Is everybody okay?"
(Abbie)
"I came to help you."

((tanner))

"yes, everyone is ok. even the hatchling you were helping."


((ayden))


"but how did you get past the serons? "

(Abbie)
" I am a seron," I told him quietly. It was so strange thinking that even after these years. "But I don't want you be be afraid of us. Not all ofthem are back, though I completly understand your fear." I remebered my first encounters with serons.

"But.. you are a human"
