Chatterbox foum RPG.

This is an RPG about the chatterbox forum five years in the future.


it has been months since zelf, the webmaster has come on to the chatterbox forum. his assistant has been running most things on her own. the forums is very popular there are about ten new members every day, many of them only know that zelf is the real webmaster through what older members tell them.

one day zelf comes on and makes a suprise post, but whats strange is he seems to be trying to warn them of something. a few days later strange things start to happen, one of the members runs into zelf in person ((first person to join will be that person and by this time I would be in my twenties..and possibly married)) he/she tells him what happed after he posted the starnage message, zelf gives him something tells him to keep it safe and walks off.










ok, now that I have made up the plot off the top of my head. I will exsplain a few things.



each person wll have two charactors.


1: their own self. ((you will be your own charactor))

2: a made up charactor who is a new member to the forum, as this charactor you will only have heard of what zelf is like, and would not know what he is like when the forum first started.










ok, you already know what I am like. so I don't think I need to make a characotor form for me. But I will make one for my second charactor.

gender: male

description: small for his age, with dark brown hair and green eyes.

personality: freindly and playfull, people are freinds with him within minuts of meeting him.


forum position: staff (9it's ok if everyone is staff, since in this RPG we have a lot of members))












((and here is the starting post. I am starting off as conner, a week before zelf makes his strnage post (it's weird talking about myself as if i am another person) ))



I logged into the chatterbox forum. I had only been a member for a week and I was already a staff member. it was then I had found out that lollipopper was not the real forum owner. the webmaster was someone known as zelf, who had not logged in for months. old anouncements he had posted were the only evidance he exsisted. the only ones every read nowdays were the rule ttopics. and the stickys he had posted in the past. like the return/leave thread, the happy birthday thread and the respect thread. all his past roleplays had long since ended. only a handfull of members who knew him when he was active remaind on the forum.

I found some people in the chatbox, so I went there to talk to them.

Of course I will be Lollipopper, aka Sierra.

Description: brown hair, brown eyes, overweight, and always wears jeans signed by his favorite race car driver
Personality: really funny, doesn't care what people think about him, friendly, sometimes acts like he's all cool and he's not, and loves to eat chili

I signed into the forum for the first time in a while. I had just gotten back from Daytona beach after watching another Nascar race.
'Man, the race was so sweet!' I posted in the racing topic I had created. I switched tabs over to the chatbox to talk to Conner, a good friend of mine.

chili came into the chatbox. "hey chili" I said ((typed)) "I just had a sudden thought, what do you think happend to zelf? you know the webmaster, his assistant has been running things since before we joined"

"I dunno" I typed. "I wasn't here then, but I have wondered about it before."

"from what Iv'e heard from the older members he sounds like he was really random, but also knew how to run a forum" I typed.

about a week later, I was logging on to the forum again. I looked down at the list of people online and saw zelf's light blue username among them. This was the first time I had seen him online at all.

I logged into my forum for the first time in months. so far it looked like the staff had kept everything under controll. There was an important anouncemet I needed to post. I went straight to the anouncements board and began posting a topic.

it said.


hello chatterbox members, many of you may not know much about me. I am the webmaster and creator of this forum. I have something very important to tell you, so read carefully. strange things will begin to happen, pay attention to those strange things and learn from them. it could mean the diffrence between life and death. also, I will find one of you in person and give you an item. I will give further instructions to that person as to what to do with that item.

after I had posted my message. I noticed some of the members who were around when I was active in the chatbox. so I went in to the chatbox to see how they were doing.

I sighed as I got onto the forum, there wasn't anything to do but go on some site I was on...
Sheesh, is it always this busy? I thought. I haven't been on the forum for a while, this was possibly the fourth time I've ever been on it.

((that did not help me at all, how about haveing him/her notice zelf's anouncement? or going to talk to someone elses charactor?))

Description: Blond hair with brown highlights, gray eyes but always weres purple contacts, tan skin.
Personality: Super social, has 5000 posts on her 3rd week.
Position: Staff.

I logged on to the chatterbox, after finishing all my homework. and right away i notice light blue name in the members box. It reads: zelf, webmaster. I had only heard of him, because the last time he was on was months ago. right after I relize he had posted a new announcement. I clicked on it and read it atleast 3 times. I was puzzeled, what did he mean by strange.

zelf came into the chatbox. "Hi zelf" I typed to him. "do you plan to stay long?" "if I can" zelf replied. "depends on how busy things get over here"

(gee, five years from now i, in real life will be in, college.... eeek i don't wanna think about it!!

I rushed to the computer and logged in and was excited to see multiple people in the chatbox, there was one of the 'old' people in there.
"Hi Conner," i typed,somewhat familliar with the name. "Hello to everybody else"
i ammended hoping to not to hurt anybody's feelings...

((zelf))

"hi carrie" I typed. "did you get a chnace to read my anouncement?"

I went on the chatbox and typed "hey, guys" and "HI zelf whats up?"

((Wait are we all in the chatbox?))

(carrie) "just a second" i flipped to the announcements page and read it,
"Strange thinngs... meaning what?" (yes, carri is going to to the "..." as much as i do, sorry)

I logged onto my email, something that i rarely had time to anymore with finals appraching. Once i passed, i'd have my Associats degree. I saw that i had a message from the chatterbox. I grinned to myself and logged on. There were like ten people in the chatbox. only a few names were familliar.
"Hey people! Zelf, long time no hear, what's up?"

"hey melody, how are you doing these days?"

I turned on my laptop, logged into my email, and began scrolling through the list of items. Nothing new caught my eye. Spam, spam, no i don't want to buy that item, spam again, and a chatterbox reply.
Usually they weren't important emails, but I clicked on it to find that zelf was back.

so far zelf seemed like a nice person. But what kind of strange things was he talking about?

"i'm fine, just taking finals and all, Hey Lollipopper! hows life?"
I felt very chldish, a nineteen-year old on a site that was originally filled with kids around thirteen or fourteen, but it was still that same-old randomness. i felt relaxed for te first time in months.

all these older people logged on and started talking about times from when i was in elementary school... i had to fit in, though,
"Are most of you people from the time of the egyptians ?" i asked, hoping to bring humor into this, so i could understand what the heck they were talking about.

"I was sixtteen when I made this forum," I told her
