"Thanks." Again. I added in my mind. We sat quietly. I could hear the fighting. There would be some serious damage when we got back.

"Anytime," I said again and sat back next to Taylor. She was kind of shivering so I scooted closer to her so our arms were touching, hoping that would help.

((Well, now everyone should be even haha))

((Should we wait on sierra or go on?))

((idk. not much to do waiting around in the forest))

"Uh." I stared between Tasha and Nate.
"What," Nate asked, noticing I was staring.
"Nothing."

((haha lol. i told u FK))

Ok....that was weird.

((Haha, but wait...she's looking back and forth between Nate and Tasha...but Nate's sitting with Taylor...))

"What did I do?" I asked, feeling really confused.

I laughed, but it wasn't a real laugh. "Nothing." I paused. "I'm worried about Cannon. I shouldn't be, but it's the Decepticons! They took down Danny and Penelope..." Danny and Penelope (and autobot) were in our little clan last year, but as you can guess, they did not survive.
The air suddenly turned cold between all of us.

"They'll be okay," I promised her, one of my hands instinctually covering hers. I realized what I did and removed my hand, scared I had done something very wrong. "Sorry," I whispered, crossing my arms tightly, looking at the ground.

I raised my eyebrows when I saw Nate's hand touch Tasha's. I should probably stay out of their way.

Everyone sat in an awkward silence until I looked up and saw smoke rising from the beach. "That wasn't there two seconds ago..." I said, and looked up at the top of the smoke clouds and saw a light reflecting...
The Decepticons sign. ((You know, like Bee was doing in the first movie reflecting the Autobot sign into the sky?)) I cursed under my breath and got up.
"You two stay here." I said, running towards the beach.

"No way." Is aid, my voice filling with dread. I ran after him.

I came out on the beach and didn't see one of our cars...not one. "Oh no." I said, looking at the decepticon that just turned into a beat up Jetta from the 80's and fled the beach along with two other cars that looked slightly more beat up, if possible. I looked around frantic for the cars. "Micah!" I yelled. "Cannon! Damian!" Nothing happened, no cars appeared.
I saw Tasha run through the trees onto the beach, followed by Taylor. "What are we going to do?" Tasha asked, voicing my thoughts.
"I don't-" I couldn't finish my sentence before the fire causing the smoke exploded, maybe hitting gas or batteries or something very flamable, knocking all of us backwards into the sand, burning bits of debris flying everywhere, some hitting us. I almost landed on the girls but flipped in the air so I could avoid them and landed face first in the sand.
I tried to sit up, spitting out sand and blood. I got to my feet and helped the girls up. I looked around. The whole beach was on fire, and despite the rain, the fire was still raging.
"Oh no." I said. "We are way in over our heads."

I pulled out my car keys and pressed the horn button.
And what did I hear?
Nothing.
