Re: Eragon Series
I loved the first one, got a little bored in the second one, and got so bored in the third one that I stopped reading them.

Re: Eragon Series
Actually it's the Inheritance Cycle. And I thought the second and third books were slow, but I really hope he picks up the pace with the next ones.

Re: Eragon Series
I like Christopher Paolini's books! I have the first three books and I am anxiously awaiting the next one to come out!
I do agree with Miara, I think the second and third were kinda getting slow in parts. Whenever I re-read them now I skip the slow stuff. (I know, shame on me)
I honestly don't think he will be able to finish the series in one more book if he keeps the same pace. I think he will have to make the storyline go faster if he is finishing it in the next book. There is just to much that has to be resolved!
Like, the other dragon egg, the elves success or decline, The outcome of the Dwarves new king. What about the whole invading the Empire? What cities, battles, and friends will be had? Who will slay Galbatorix? What about the people's reaction(the whole love/hate Galbatorix thing)? What about "The Name"? What about the dreams that constantly plague Eragon, but he never really pays attention to? What about Eragon's fortune? What about the two people that Angela told a fortune to in the varden's camp? What about Werecats?
I could go on, But then I think I would start to get redundant. SO, All in all, I think he will need more than one book to finish the series.

it's hard to pretend when you start seeing the words. and you start wondeirng what is going on. then your curiosity takes over and before you know it you want to keep reading it.
Re: Eragon Series
My mom read the first one to Shadowman and i , and we get a little bit into the 2nd book, but then school got in the way and we stopped

Re: Eragon Series
I read the first one randomly. I hunted down the second, and I bought a copyof the third 3 months before it came out. Then, last year, while looking for avatars for a game, I found SF and learned even more about it. I am so crazy about the series; I have actually made my cell phone siggy "Creepy Saphira-Worshiping Zombie" before I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!!!
